Hi Guys hope everyone is doing well.
i just wanted to ask a quick question which i have as im a total new-be growing my very first plant. so far with the help of this forum she looks as though she is doing well, however i have a small concern which i need some knowledge on.

i have attached the photo of my plant in its current state at 17 days old.
i have noticed that a few leaves have a distinct colour difference around the stem goin into the middle of the plant. (about 2, 3 leaves)
Is this something which i need to worry about and if so how to i correct it. Again as a total new-be this is all just a learning curve.
Thanks in advance guys

Welcome dave1,
She is looking perfect!
Welcome Aboard!
Good people here!
Otto

ps. How big is the pot she's in?

looks very small - are you transplanting?
do it soon - I never transplant autos -
they don't like it - but not a big deal if
this is your first grow

Do a grow journal in the New Growers Forum - I
am new to AFN too - get loads of help...

:tiphat: Dave', welcome to AFN, mate! :styles rasta: .....Your plant looks fine, I see nothing to raise alarms; subtle color variations are normal, with younger growth usually being lighter green than the rest, midribs also much lighter,...
... Otto brings up a valid points; at 17 days, she's not far from showing sex, so transplanting ASAP is best; doing it after flowering initiates may have adverse effects on size and yield, depending on how little the roots are damaged in the process,... the hard part is allowing little to no rooted soil to crumble and fall off when moving it into the final pot! Have some B1 or better yet Superthrive handy when you do, which will help greatly in minimizing shock... best trick for this is to have in your final pot a hole made by the same size pot (place an empty in there after partly filling, then fill around it); transfer is the tricky part! I like to tamp the soil down a bit to compact it, then gently squeeze the sides of the pot to free the soil/roots from the sides; tilt sideways and let it slide onto the flat of your palm, cup the rest of it with your other hand and gently drop it into the pot-shaped hole :wiz: ... then water with the B1 or superthrive (has B1 in it, and some other good stuff).... *** Setting up a grow journal in this forum, new growers, with some title to it as such will make it easier to spot and respond to; be sure to include details like strain name, type of soil(s) used, pot sizes, nutrients to be used, etc.,... All this will help fine tune advise for your specifics, okay? Post questions in there, or whistle up any High Team, Asst Mod, or Mod if you don't get a quick response! "Muddy's Thumbs Up"
