Recently finished a mephisto run, including creme bubbly and AvT f2's. I popped a few double grapes as well but I got 2 up without grow tips and 2 others never quite made the cut either.
Not sure what exactly happened but I have one up in my current grow. Here's a pic of a 'bad' dg, before we get to the good stuff

So anyway, I used a UK Peat based multi purpose compost with about 10% Perlite to lighten it up slightly. Biobizz fish, bloom and canna rhizotonic.

I use velcro tape to Lst the most vigorous grow tips back below the canopy.

Back from work with a doob of Ripleys in me, feeling groovy ma bro`s

So anyhow, a bit more back ground. The grow is in a 80cm sq x 160 tent, which is in a small shed in my garden. I live in the UK at nearly L 56" N, so have to battle the cold weather come this time of year, Autos on 24/7 using a variable W hps is the best option to regulate/generate enough heat without an external heat source(yes, i`m tight).
I`ve done a few Auto runs previously, using sweet seeds, DP & Meph genetics, it must be said that i`m a big fan of Meph beans, hence me deciding to create this thread to say so.

As you`ll note in the pictures, I use a couple of " of perlite on top of my compost, its just to annoy the fungus gnats which inevitably make an appearance. I find fabric pots and a good layer of perlite prevent them becoming an issue.



Because I LST`d them a bit low I set up a dripper to save me splashing the feed everywhere.

The reason I keep the Autos so low is I think it makes it far easier to prevent Micro climates within the plants grow space if they are very short, I also baffle my passive intakes on really cold nights to prevent the plants getting blasted with cold air the best I can. It`s far from perfect but works for me.

I think this was them around 8 weeks, as it was time to pop the next grows beans already.

Next grow is a Double grape, 2 x AvT & one CB, but better finish this one first


Took the first CB at 9.5 weeks to allow me to pot up the little `uns.
