Some New Issues Cropped up

I see no bugs ANYWHERE!, i even used a magnifying glass to check under leaves and nothing. It looks like something has been biting at it, but i find no culprit .....

Don't know wtf is going on here......


These are PHOTO plants, growing in DWC, res temps are at 72f, PH stable at 5.9. Room temps 72f, RH at 56 Percent. They are under
a t5 fixture that is about a foot above canopy

The holes in the leaves do look like insect damage. You might consider doing a preemptive strike with some neem oil and hang some fly paper in there in case it's a flying insect.

Is that discoloration only on the top leaves? If there is any curl on the leaf tips is it curling up or down? Can you also post a picture of the whole plant so we can see how the rest of it looks? I'm also seeing some reddish color on your leaf stems. Is that everywhere, or just on the big fan leaves? I'm thinking your low room temps might be an issue and possibly preventing good transpiration and the accompanying proper nutrient uptake. At 72 you're a good 10 degrees below what is recommended for HPS lights and 12 or 13 degrees below what is best for LEDs, CFLs and T5s.

I will take some more pics in just a bit so you can get a better view. The temps are kind of a trade off is it not? I don't have a chiller for the DWC so if i raise the room temps the temps in my buckets will raise and run the risk of root rot? Would i not?

it dosnt really seem to be a problem or not at the minute its not.as its currently upside down dead.i had noticed some of my stems purpling,but in a two-tone kinda way like old cars.top half is purple bottom half green.any time I saw purple before it was all purple.no ?

That's the trade off. Ideally the res should be around 68 and room temps 82 - 85 under T5s. Are your buckets insulated?

That two toned effect is almost always a P deficiency. Solid purple/red can be genetic.

I put the water level right to the 3 gallon mark, which is about an 1 and 1/2 below the net pot, the roots look great.

Skywalker Kush I originally set it at 220PPM its now down to 160PPM
Blue Dream I originally set it to 310 PPM its now down to 260PPM
Vanilla Kush I originally set it to 320 PPM its now down to 280PPM

Room temps at 73F Water is at 73F all of them are PH between 5.8 to 5.9

I am getting some bug traps today to see if anything sticks. I see NO BUGS on the plants but it seems like something is biting into them.

What I'm seeing on the big fan leaves is a calcium deficiency and in your previous closeups I can see a little mag deficiency. The drop in the PPM indicates that they are feeding. As the PPM are dropping are you seeing a rise in your pH? If so, that would suggest they are underfed. In my RDWC system I'm running a higher PPM at that age and those systems require less nutrients than DWC. So again, I'm thinking they may be underfed. Also, how much solution are they using a day?
