lenses will change light focus most definitely! But in general you want to start lower on light intensity with Autos vs Photos. It is better to ramp UP intensity, vs have even 2 days of overly intense lighting. Lamp distance is huge. But whenever possible a n LED with adjustable power is ideal. My light bars are crazy intense! They create wall to wall light! Lamp distance should be minimum of 18-24 inches for full power. If you run full power at 12 inches, you will have issues. Turning it down to 50% will allow for 12inch distance. Without adjustable power, the plant would turn yellow and do horrible yield wise. The same plant with more space would flourish! If you try too much, plants will respond. But some people can mistake their LIGHTING intensity symptoms to a NUTRIENT issue. Because they can mimic each other, and some people Assume Low Watts can't cause stress. As I said. Start low, ramp up slowly ..Not having to turn down due to stress ever! Respect the plant more than anything. She will give you signs. Pale growth of saggy leaves can be overwaterring...or light stress. Raise lights and reduce power of you see pale saggy growth, plants will respond to overly intense lights quickly. Lights are brighter than we realize. If you see a light claiming very high watts, it is prob lower quality. Certain lights do better staggering plants, vs directly over plants. Cobs run that way. Looking like the best buds are in the shade vs under the plant directly at times. @gringuito98 points this same fact out! Overlapping is not good and creates not spots. Added height helps with certain lights. That is why 2x4x5 tents and Cobs are not ideal for full sized plants. Not tall enough for the lights. Peace, slowSo is part of the problem with some of these COB lights that they don’t have the lenses that say the Optic 1 version does?
