Definitely best in class gods light
haha
Thank you for your compliment.Definitely best in class gods lighthaha
Just received my SP-250, plugged it in for a quick test and OMG is this thing bright. All the diodes are working and everything seems well made, I love that it has a Meanwell driver. I notice that the UV diodes need a few seconds longer to shut off when I turn it off, that's interesting, I wonder why that is ? Sure looks cool though. Sucks that I am out of cash now, gonna have to wait until the next paycheck to get the tent but ah well, only need it for starting seedlings for now and I can do that in the garage, don't really need a tent for that. But damn I soooooooo wanna throw some Mephisto seeds under that light and see what it can do, I've been saving my White Crack seeds just for this. :smoking:
when you turn off the light, the diodes need second to shut off, it's normal. If it goes out quickly, it will affect the life of the light. Hope to see some feedback pics from you lol![]()
Waiting for your tagI see, I knew there had to be a logical reason behind it. Thanks for the info. Yeah I will be doing a grow journal eventually as this will be my first indoor grow and I will for sure need some help from the vet growers here on this forum. But that will be in a month or 2. I have way too much work with my greenhouse atm and the weather is fantastic right now so I am taking full advantage of it, put 3 more autos in there just the other day. I will tag you when I start the indoor grow so you can follow along.
Cheers!
Migro just did a review on the SP-250 series, he likes it. Should be a bit more efficient then the TS series and it's splash proof, which is pretty damn cool if you ask me. The SP-250 also appears to have some UV and IR in it now and should in general have a better spectrum. Also SP uses more quality components like a Meanwell driver. The other difference is how the lights spread out the light over the area with the TS series having more of a hotspot in the middle and SP spreading it out more evenly and thus can be ran closer to the canopy. Look at Migro's review and the wonderful spread he gets in a 2x4 area with the SP-250 at approx. 16 inches in the video, impressive. Thinking of pulling the trigger on the SP-250 myself, did not realize it was such a good lamp.

In the video he says UV and IR are just for show...4:30. Is there truth to this? Also this light looks mighty fine and as a new grower planning out a 2.5x5 tent the price point looks mighty attractive too.
@sirsmokealot Could you please provide a link for the electrical cable and joiner? I'd search epay but I don't even know what to look for![]()
