Mephisto Genetics Spanglish is back with a Sour Crack, (and a micro White N Bubbly)

White N Bubbly is well into her stretch now and is looking to be a nice stretchy open framed girl, reckon she would respond great to some bending in a bigger pot to give a nice amount of extra tops. Sex was confirmed on Day 21 just as vertical growth really started to take off, she had 3 more 5 hours ponytail sessions and has been left alone since, except for removing any of the first node set that was touching soil. Next feed is going to be full strength grow feeds (grow 3ml/L + algamic 3ml/L + calmg 1.2ml/L) and will be till vertical grow slows to a stop, this is fed till slight runoff every other day which is about 400ml, when vertical growth slows and bloom feeds start they are then feed to runoff every day.

Sour Crack is just starting to go upwards and showed sex on Day 15, could have been a day or two earlier but never checked and only found the pistils when styling her hair. She is on her 4th day with a ponytail and will get a couple more before being left alone, and having the bottom of the stem cleaned up from anything touching soil. She is also already starting to give of a real funky weed smell, where as White N Bubbly is like i got a mint garden in the room.

Cheers pal am trying my best Forgot how quick these Sour Crack are, not even Week 3 and turning on the stretch and up to nearly full strength veg feeds, thank fuck for that as the stash is forever dwindling and my weed contact has left town for good, so they better be finishing soon like, as i reckon White N Bubbly might be my biggest but longest running 1L girl.

Hopefully will have a overdue update on the girls tomorrow, after not getting one good photo out of the batch i took today due to having a nice finger print on the lense of the camera. Sour Crack is doing fantastic, White N Bubbly not so much as she is to big and hungry in the 1L pot (more details and horror pics tomorrow lol).

Was moving White N Bubbly about during lights off a bit earlier, and brushed her fan leaves against the LED side light and must of bridged the solder on one of the diodes, as all of a sudden there was a flash of light, checked the power was off for sure and it was so had a few more goes every time the bulb would light up, so even though she is hungry as hell looks like White N Bubbly is producing some energy lol.

Will start with Sour Crack the happy and healthy girl, as not to scare anyone to much on a Monday morning. She is going great and well into the stretch now still putting on 2-3cm a day, and taking a 1L mix full strength veg feeds every other day that i will continue with till vertical growth slows to a stop and i start bloom feeds and change to the 2700k main bulb.

White N Bubbly is well lol to put it nicely not doing quite so good, showing what could well be more than one deficiency. First thing was first checked PH with the Accurate 8 and is sitting at a nice 6.6-6.7, feeds have now been daily for the past week with a fair bit of N and CalMg compared to normal that barely slowed her down eating into herself, have now started splitting the feed into 100ml 5 times a day to try get as much as possible into the root zone without losing most of it to runoff, and meet her constant demand for food, is to early to tell for sure but looks to have slowed down her cannibalizing herself a fair bit, that leads me to believe the reason for her not looking so good is that the 1L of soil is struggling to hold enough to keep her fed and happy, but fingers crossed i can baby her with multiple feeds daily to take her to the end.

Have been looking more at my pics of White N Bubbly since i updated and a good couple of hours of internet searches, and reckon it is phosphorus deficiency that she is showing with the yellowing patchy leaves working there way up, and the overly red stems that i did not really jump out till i saw the photos <<< @Waira your opinion is always appreciated

Makes sense as she should be wanting more as she comes into flower and is not much in the grow feeds, so is more than likely adding the bloom in the last couple of feeds that has slowed it down more so than increasing volume, so new action plan is to change up feeds to "grow 2ml/L + algamic 3ml/L + bloom 3ml/L + calmg 1.6ml/L" and feed @ 100ml 3 x day so not to overwater, as i am pretty sure that is where the current plan is heading and also is not going to help in phosphorus uptake either.

All looking good for White N Bubbly also and am 100% sure it was lack of phosphorus now, as since changing up the nute mix leaf discolouring has stopped spreading completely and she is throwing out nice new white pistils compared to the browning tips shown in her last pics.
