Mephisto Genetics Spanglish is back with a Sour Crack, (and a micro White N Bubbly)

Thanks brother is just something i am playing with and trying to get right, not they easiest thing to get hold of with a phone cam (no matter how good the phone is ) specially when your hands shake more than a Parkinson's sufferer with his fingers in a power socket (joke and no offence meant in anyway), hopefully over time with better skills ans equipment i will be able to pull them off to perfection

The day of reckoning is coming for the poor little pot White N Bubbly, started putting plain water through her on Day 60 and will continue to till just before midday Day 64 due to the speed the tiny pot drys, then 17th November Day 65 she is to be sacrificed to the god of me.

Quite a lot of cloudy trichs now and next to no amber but have read in a few journals W&B don't show them often, still a few to many clear for my liking but is how its gonna have to be, perfectly i would have taken her to Day 70 to mature to her best but she is not going to make it that long and is eating hard into her leaves, and am afraid if i leave her much longer gonna eat into the nugs too, leaving non for me lol

Looking promising to be my most productive if not time consuming 1L pot grow, don't like to guess weight before i chop but fingers crossed this could be my first 1oz + micro pot grow.

Cheers nearly choked on my coffee this morning 2 PMs and 56 likes hahaha. just in time for the end and session of before, during and after sacrifice photos over this weekend of W&B i just cant let her suffer no longer and needs to be put out of pain, gonna have to remember that one as a future excuse, but in all serious she barely has any upper leaves left HAHAHA

Ok the deed is done and the poor little girl hit the axe, never even checked trichs in the end as don't think she would have made it much longer anyways before croaked it or rot or mould started to set in, an a firm believer ready or not trichs continue to change and amber through the first part of the cure if not longer, and she for sure as feck looked done.

Did not take to long to trim but was a bit of a bitch as over the last week the cola foxtailed like nuts, which does my nut when trimming. Also excuse it if the trim is a bit rough, had to be done outside for obvious reasons and light was fading and the wind was blowing making it baltic as fuck.


Nice shiney new fiskars ready for action and the last pics of her as a full living plant (sorry about the quality on these as i said was in a hurry and cold as feck)

Trim box with not a bad amount in it for a little 1L girl that had lost most of her leaves lol will be saved again for a rainy day.

Not so new shiney and clean now but look better to me.

Nice hard nugged but foxtailed main top and the keepers from the lowers, lowers could have gone a bit longer and bulked up more due to low penetration of the CFL at that distance from the main light, she was to far gone to take the top and finish of the rest but am 99% sure i will be with her Sour sister. In time will be getting some lot better shots of these.

Wet weight, gonna lose a good amount through drying and removal of stems. Never like to guess but for sure wont hit the Oz i thought she might but will say am pretty confident she will equal the 1/2 Oz of past 1L grows.

And up they go to dry, less than perfect conditions for sure but RH is never over 65 an most of they day sits round 40-50 so, the cold is gonna slow the dry for sure but nothing wrong with a fresh long cure as long as RH dont peak and send out invites to mould lol last shot is not me falling over and more a attempt of being artistic and more than happy to get back into the warm again.

Am sticky and stinky and don't care a bit now that i am in from the cold, think i prefer the scent more than some of the €200 bottles of aftershave i have got kicking round here

I don't have the time or patience to water several times a day or do all the other stuff that you have to do to keep these micro grow girls happy. Sitting outside in failing light and cold to chop and trim - I think not. Think I'd go hide in a bedroom or wc. So how was she? I'm sure by now you've at least snuck a wee taste eh.

Yeah they are a challenge and more importantly a great learning experience, and have taken more info in from them than all of my normal pot sized grows combined, so a chore yeah for sure but one i am happy to stick with, if not just for the knowledge (can spot P def in a instant now after this grow), extra bit of yield and bit more selection in the stash

Think even with the new space coming i will still find a spot of a 1L girl, have always thought putting a strain that wants to get big in the 1L would be a bit of a mission and did not think she would like it much, so either i fucked up on something or i was right in that assumption but will never know really.

Cold was worth it and don't mine it really just would rather be in the warm, and the eyes and light held up long enough to get don't look to bad of a trim, lowers could have still gone 4-5 days longer but still have nice density to them.

What made my ass twitch was the RH metre when checking drying this morning as you can see in the pic below, don't mind the cold makes for a nice slow dry and cure combo IMHO but only if the RH max for the bulk of the day is between 30% (perfect for speed at low temps) and 60% ( great for a slow dry and cure combo but takes longer 7-10 days before is even smokeable or thinking about putting in a jar) anything over that worries me and even 60% on big fat colas is concerning to me and would prefer 45%-50% for them. Looks to be a freak patch of weather though over last night and all morning fog, rain and cloud are starting to clear a bit now and is supposed to drop from a ambient 100% RH to 60% for the rest of the day and peak a little at 70% in the early hours then staying at 45%-65% for the next 4-5 days, so fingers crossed again as with Sour Crack still with a good 5-10 days of fattening and maturing to do that is only place available for drying.

Will do another check on my funky cool new meter as the RH seems to be way out on that old piece of shit, hence changing it but worryingly was always reading what i suspected to be under lol.

Got the new nice shiney working meter in there and the weather has passed, so this about what she got for the bulk of the time for the next 5 days at least (so perfect for now)

My rh is usually pretty high most of the year. Luckily, the AC unit can keep it down to about 50% when it's running. Not running now though, the heater has been running for the past few days. Rh is normally a bit lower when is cold. Good thing as I chopped the WW a couple of days ago. She's drying in the lower part of the cab with rh 35-45%
