I am looking into getting another LED to fill a space i have.
The Bysen LEDs i have are great and i like the results so far.
But i want to try another kind....Also Chinese.

I have been researching spectrums of various lights and the ratios used.
This is what i have come up with so far, your thoughts would be appreciated!

2 X 6500K (white)
1 X 12000K (cool white)
1 X 430nm (blue)
1 X 455nm (blue)

1 X 460nm (blue)

1 X 620nm (pink)

2 X 620-630nm (red)
5 X 660nm (red)
1 X 720nm (deep red)

I think i have a pretty good spread of the spectrums there.
It will be used fro veg and bloom.

Nice mate I'd like to see how that would perform :smokebuds:

Thanks Red!!

Took quite a while to gather a lot of light specs and then modify a bit to available LED's.
Placing the order for the light tomorrow and should have it in 3 weeks or so.
Should arrive about a month before harvest so the middle area of my grow room will get a good boost!

Once the photo's are done i am going to be doing a few rounds of Auto's again!!!
Cannot wait to raise some dragon babies!!!

Keep in mind that just spectrum doenst say it all, whats the quality of the used leds?
Because if lowbin leds are used the result may disapoint you!

LED's are going to be Epistar, the same as i have in my Bysen LED panels.
I have been told that they are Top Bin LED's so the quality should be pretty good!.

Light has been ordered!!
Hopefully have it in two weeks time!

hey layzeee, i see the ratio, how many total led's in the panel?:smokebuds:

There are 6 spots that each have 15 LED's for a grand total of 90 LED's.
All LED's are 3 Watt and it will run at around 200 Watts.

So i will have two 315 Watt panels plus the 200 Watt new panel!
Not too sure if i will try and squeeze the Induction light in there or not...

when i first started indoor growing, i had one blackstar 240w flowering, on three photo maine blueberry, the fecker's stretched so much i had to top them twice, to keep them in the tent, produced some tasty wispy bud. not enough light next grow added a 135w bs , with the 240w. this worked well.
at this no money:shrug:i started adding cfl's , this was a improvment as well, i say throw every light you have in there, just mean's fatter bud's and more weight.:smokebuds::D:

I wish i had a spare ballst for the spare Induction bulb i have lying around!!

It may be overkill but i want to add the new light for only 4 to 5 months due to the changing laws in Canada...
Going to be doing a few Auto grows to fill the jars and the more light i have now the better the bud will be!
Hoping to be able to fill some serious jars up until April 2014.

I think i should be okay since i am still vaping my last grow and some of it is almost a year old and still amazing!!
It would be cool to have a few dozen jars full so that i do not have to buy any meds for at least 2 years.

Just imagine dozens of jars of Dragon meds!!!
