as soon as it is ready to cut down i am off to india for a couple of months. What is the least time i will need before i can leave it in jars? I was hoping i could do it in a month?

yeah, no problem. Get some Boveda 62% packs and you will have zero worries. Get it as dry as you can before you cut too.
 
i have never used them before. Do i wait untill the RH is 62 before leaving them in the jars?

I do, but you don't have to-it's a two-way system that will pull down the RH of the buds. But you don't want to throw wet buds in with one; they aren't miracle workers.
 
cheers, so if i do the usual of burping the jars for a couple of weeks and then bring them to 60-65 RH before puting the bags in i should be ok?

bring your RH down to 65%. Drop your buds into mason jars and burt a couple times a day for a week or so. Then throw in a bovida and put them some place cool and dark, like the bottom of a closet. If you go past the 60% RH mark, you cant bring it back up to cure. that's why I dry to 65 and bring it slowly down to about 62-63 and drop in a bovida. Get yourself a couple small hygrometers off amazon and throw one in a jar or two!:thumbsup:
