As far as transferring, most wait until sex.
I'm tempted to try to cutting out the bottom, sticking them in the medium, buried about halfway.
Once they sex, let the females stay but the male cups pull out, cup & all (yes some roots will tear & they'll probably stunt but who cares - they're guys) & place the males in a double cup.
That way one doesn't need to worry about stunting or slowing down the girlies at all.
It should work just fine & maybe better than waiting until sex to transfer

I'm really feeling that idea TBM....I think i will have to give this a try. I've already got all the bottoms cut out in the 1st cup so it will be easy peasy to just load up my pots with the super hydro mix and set the cups right in there. the mix should be in tomorrow at my hydro shop...

as far as feeding, wait 30 days? Im used to my sensitive dwc buckets, so i would wait at least 30 days until i put any nutrients in my water.

the sunshine advanced super hydro mix is as follows:

pH 5.4 – 6.5
Soluble salts – 0.80 – 2.0 mmhos/cm
Nitrate N - 25 – 40 ppm
Phosphorus – 20 – 40 ppm
Potassium – 300 – 400 ppm
Calcium –30 – 60 ppm
Magnesium –15 – 25 ppm

I wanted to pick up an organic nutrient, right now im on the fence betwen nutes. Botanicare's organic line, Blue Mountain Organics, or Roots Organic. Those are the 3 i narrowed my list down to, not sure which one would best accomodate the medium i have.

any suggestions on the best ORGANIC nutes to use please chime in, anyone. I'm open to all suggestions as the only nutes ive used so far have been Dutch Master Gold line...

I will be getting this to try. Only about 20 or 30 bucks. I think it's a good place to start.
