Day 22

One of my bobbys has showed herself to me

she has been the biggest and most vigorous one out of the bunch, yesterday i noticed pistols

I've been feeding about every 4 days. Im really not sure how often i need to be feeding or watering for that matter so im just winging it now. any input on this would be muchly appreciated...

here is that mutant thunder i showed you guys last week. grown quite a bit :thumbs:

here the 3 bobbys in the 7 quart smart pot. There's a runt on the right hand side there...

and here is the whole gang. Gloworm and i will be moving this month and the plants are getting thier own room This will be the last pic of the girls set up like this. I circled the big bobby girl in red so you can see where she is amongst the crowd. You can see how much bigger she is than her peers

Im looking forward to more girls showing themselves in the next few weeks!

1 day short of 30

I've got some great news guys! out of the 13 babies that made it into the tent, 11 turned out to be female! I thought i had 12 last week but sure enough there were 2 in my 7 quart smart pot that turned out to be male. so now the lonely Bobby gets the smart pot all to herself.

This leaves me with 6 Bobbys and 5 Thunders. Out of the Bobbys i have a favorite. She's been the biggest one out of all of the plants since the beginning, has a great structure, and is the tallest at 1 foot as of this morning.

My favorite Thunder is this one that is short, squat with wide beautiful leaves that cover the whole top of the pot...

I call her Squatty Thunder :dance2:

The Girls...Big Bob is the tall one in the back middle, Squatty Thunder is all the way to the left corner up top... and of course Smart Bobby is the loner at the bottom

I wasn't expecting so many girls out of the bunch. I was really hoping for 8 maximum so i decided to get me some new gear. I was rockin a 600 magnetic ballast from HTG Supply

now i got 2 brand new Galaxy electronic (dimable to 400) mh/hps ballast that come with a 5 year warranty...already i notice it is better. no annoying humming noise, lighter and i can leave my hand on it no problem. My magnetic HTG crap ran super hot and made a humming noise that drove Gloworm nuts lol. Not to mention how heavy that thing was. Anyone have experience with the SunSystem Galaxys? Problems? Complaints?

I also picked up a new tent. Sun Hut 4x4 that actually measures at 4.5 feet all the way around. I guess Sun Huts give you a lil extra room so that flood trays can easily fit. I found that to be a bonus.

I picked up the 2 new ballast plus tent for $600 at my hydro shop. The owner is a really cool guy who always gives me discounts because i shop there so much, and will often go to him instead of buying online purposly to support his local business...in return he hooks me up :buds:

Gloworm and I are in the process of moving. The new place has a whole room just for my growing! these dragons will soon be upgraded to a 4x4 tent (more room!) under the 2 new 600 watters :thumbs:

ALSO...went ahead and picked up some AN nutes. My next run will include photos as well and i've decided that i'm sticking with the Earth Juice for my autos and my photos are going to get the AN treatment. See if these nutes are all they are cracked up to be or if its just a gimmick.

I've got a pretty full cabinet now. That's Dutch Master on the bottom right, AN in the middle right and Earth Juice on the left. those little bottles in the middle are free samples i got from my shop of voodoo juice, sesizym, bud candy, piranah and tarantula.

The bottles of AN nutes i got are: Sensi both veg and bloom (A+B) Grandma Enggys F1 and H2 (fulvic and humic acid) Carboload, and B-52. I'm not sure what compelled me to pick these out of the AN line up, but i did and hope they are a good combo for thriving plants. Any input on my selection is more than welcomed. My next grow will have a auto/photo mix. I'll be growing out Plushberry and Silver Kush for the photos. Undecided on my next autos...

I know! something like $199 just for a bottle of the tarantula! I told my hydro guy i would never buy it and he said to just come into the shop for samples whenever i need it! awesomeness :dance:

thanks Mr. nice...im still a newbie so im compulsively checking on them, making sure they are okay lol. I hope they stay this nice and healthy for the rest of the grow. i can't wait!!!
