i slid that damn thing so many times realcarlos, as soon as i slide it up and put it in the laptop it slides back down. It has the word "lock" on it with an arrow pointing down. I push it up, put it in the laptop and pop it back out and the lock is back on. Do i just need to get a new one? maybe mine is just loose and needs to be replaced...thanks for help

Its just a small plastic tab that is not needed, you should be able to easy pop it out if it is already loose, that may fix your issue....maybe

spels, i have a serious idea, your vids are excellant! and everyone agrees!:booya:why not make an afn video, "how to grow autos" a guide to growing auto's put it on dvd and market it right here on afn. i am serious. it costs two bucks for the blank dvd it could cost a small amount, say 10 bucks and it would help new members in there first grows, and promote the seed store, where it could be also!!i have watched a zillion youtube grow vids, and yours are the best!!! between you and glow, you have already proven you can do it! and still grow fabulous cannabis!:smokebuds:

yeah some way to usb that would b the cheapest / easiest solution... i have a usb card adapter that works for BS like that... you'd think they wouldn't screw ya like that... frikin manufacterers.....

also... I'd lean away from messing with permissions first... I'd do that as last resort as not knowing what you're doing can have bad consequences... :smoke:

usb is what i tried even before the damn sd card! the video is on my computer no problem. It took like 2 minutes to transfer all the data on the camera onto the laptop. the problem comes when i try to upload it to afntube. For some reason last night i couldn't get it uploaded at all and now this morning i got it to afn tube but i can't view it. It may be still converting but i tried to watch it shortly after uploading and an error message came up... here's the link so you can see what i'm talking about

I wound up breaking the damn lock last night near 2 am stunted, except when it broke it stayed in the lock position :no: This transfer thing had me really irritated last night if ya'll couldn't tell lol thanks for all the help and suggestions guys

wow astro! I have to be honest and say although i am super flattered that you would suggest us doing a how to video, i don't think i'm ready! i don't know it's just a huge glass to fill because i'd want to do it perfectly and i've only been growing for a year now. I seriously have 2 auto runs under my belt lol. If we did a how to video i'd want it to be a community effort. I could do regular mini "how to's" and then collaborate those mini vids into a longer full how to video. I would need input from you guys though and of course collective member's knowledge so that i don't miss anything. Once i figure out how to get smooth sailing with this damn video upload, let's all talk more about this dvd idea. I like it astro, i just want to make sure it turns out great and for that i'll need all the knowledge i can get. it could be revenue if it gets sold in the seed shop, help maintain the site. And i did mention AFN apparel in the video. I'd really like to get the ball rolling on that too...had in mind something like BOM/AFN t-shirts and other apparel. I'd rock an afn hat anyday and this site is so lowkey, nobody would be able to recognize the insignia on it hehe

let's hear any and all ideas. I'm open to them and will get the ball rolling as soon as this uploading stuff is sorted out for me. Thanks everyone for the input!

Thanks dirt but the link I provided for sprung is to the direct site and lists cheaper prices than in the link you posted. For example the single bags are $20 on sprungs site $25 on tht other 1 and the 5 gallon bag set comes with the pressing screen.
