It is insane! I thought it was so cool i clipped the leaf and placed it in a book to be pressed. I'm giving it to a special friend of mine today for her birthday. I know she'll love it! :booya:

Oh hey thanks TBM! Picture looks better a lil bigger

The leg is actually healing up at a good pace. Still on crutches but i drove myself to work this morning which is a big deal considering i couldn't bend it a week ago. MRI tomorrow to make sure i didn't tare my ACL but im confident that's not the case. Thanks for asking

Your wish is my command Mossy! Of course we will! I say we because the canna butter is all Glow's department :booya: She's a chef..and she can't wait to get her hands on that trim to make some cannabutter!!

well do a how to video...maybe glow will feature in her own lil mini series cooking show! lol....then a feedback video on the results of the baked goods? I know for me, i can only eat edibles at night time cause they knock me out! BUT my best friend recently moved in with us, who greatly benefits from the edibles due to medical reasons...I will get his testimony on the medical effects of the butter.

Glow wants to make 2 batches of butter. 1 batch using dry ice hash infused butter and 1 batch using trim leaf and popcorn buds in a crockpot to see the different results in potency, taste etc...

We're also going to try our hand out on making concentrates...maybe well do a video on that too since were getting all camera happy

we've already done dry ice hash a few times with fabulous results, so well be making pressed hash pucks out of it again for sure.

we also want to run bubble hash with bubble bags, ISO hash and lastly BHO but maybe not well see about that...something about using butane freaks me out but well see. :thumbs:

thanks for popping in Mossy and EVERYBODY! It means so much to me that you guys notice the progression in my growing. It's exciting seeing the skills develop with each grow, as the finished buds are a reflection of how well i do each harvest. I'ts only been a year and 1 month since i put my first bean to germ. I owe so much of what i've learned to all of you guys here on AFN. I can't say thanks enough...this place rocks my world :booya::smoke:

I am totally with you on the bho spels. I love what it produces but the danger isn't worth the result vs cold extraction Iso hash for me! Iso is easy and makes some very potent dark red hash! Plus since I do it quickly and only pull heads off the trichs I use the leftover product for tinctures for headaches and general pain relief!

Being a safety freak (it's my job), I've always thought BHO hash was sort of an equivalent to working in a crack kitchen. Dangerous, deadly. It does produce nicely, but soooo risky. :cry:

I have a similar leaf trait in one of the JEM lines and I always wonder where it came from..

If Spels don't mind, I can field this question for you, the seeds actually came from me. The original parents are a male Space Queen, Subcool calls him "the Dude", which is where the resin covered leaves comes from; the mother was a Black cherry soda (clone only) and was used for the color, taste and smell. I bought a 5 pack of plush soon after it came out and selected for color and tric production and created an F2 of the line on two separate mothers, one colored, one not, which is what you are seeing here.

thanks for the input DubV...how long does your iso usually take to dry before you can smoke it?

Spels it usually takes 2-3 days in the winter or 3-4 in summer. I put my glass tray in a spare bathroom and put the fan on to speed it up. Also I like to use 180 proof ever clear over iso because it leaves no taste. Here is what my finished product looks like.

Looks real nice DubV! Def giving the iso a run...when you use the everclear, is the bud still only submerged for 30-35 seconds?

I should also point out that "The Dude" is used quite often in TGA Subcool gear, like another few favorites of mine Space Bomb, Space Dawg, The Flav, Space Jill etc...... Anything with The Dude involved is sure to sparkle at harvest.
