Thanks surf, i was just thinking it was behind schedule and was just like chubbs but now that you say that it totally makes sense. +rep for the good eye buddy... It's cool that i got all 3 phenos like you did! Is foxtailing considered a bad or a good thing or just a growth pattern? Can't wait till harvest!!!!:hump:

Thanks! Foxtailing is usually an indication of sativa influence in my experience, but I am told that it can happen when the light is too intense but I have never seen that personally. Things like Jack Herer and certain Hazes have natural foxtailing traits...

well the one plant we named Chubbs is starting to foxtail as too so maybe there is some truth in the lights being too intense...they are about 16 inches from the lights right now.

I took a small sample nug off Chubbs yesterday to get a better look under the scope. Mainly clear trichs with a few milkys and 1 or 2 ambers. I'm hoping i can start chopping this coming up weekend!

@Noods, i believe you asked what kind of light is in my veg tent. It's just a small Sun Blaze 4 bulb t5 fixture in there. Nothing special, and really surprised it's maintained all 11 plants in there. I've still got 3 clones in the solo cups alive and well too!

again, thanks everyone for all the love. Harvest day is almost here!! :booya:

I haven't had any issues with foxtailing even with the lights (400 at the time) 2-3 inches from the Plushberry. Only the sativa pheno started to tail.... (the sativa was also the one with the most trics all over every leaf including the fans...) But I've only grown 3 female plush berries to completion from seed, I'm sure there is some truth to the intense light affecting plants, and @TBM aren't there any sativa genes in the dragons...? I could've swore they looked kinda sativa-like in the leaves....

The one that looked behind the rest with the foxtailing early is def that sati pheno you were talking about...im just wondering if chubbs is starting to foxtail from being directly under the light through the whole grow...the 2 shorter phenos i have are not foxtailing as of now.

and im almost positive mossy breeds mostly indica dom plants, especially the original black dragon...the only sati dom variety i believe is the duurty dragon with the reds showing through (from the affy if i remember correctly)

Oh, well now I know... I still want to do a Dragon grow of some sort soon but have no seeds, and it seems silly to get more when I have so many to choose from already.... I forgot, how many of each Plush seed type did you grow out?

Surf, check your mail :D

I germed 8 of them and realized once i put them in the paper towel that i had lost track of which were the white and which were the purple so i couldn't lable the pots accordingly...1 wound up being a runt which i pulled early since it was way behind the others and 2 were male.

I know i have 2 plants that are the short "pink" pheno that subcool enjoys the most. Chubs is the large indy one and the foxtailer is the sati dom. i haven't seen the colors in natural light yet but from the nug i chopped yesterday from chubbs, she's all green with dark orange hairs. I thought i had one plant purple up on me but now i really can't tell. I'll know more closer to chop.

I did a little investigation about foxtailing to see what others are saying...found this thread with someone asking what's the deal. People's opinions seem to vary but the top 3 reasons are heat stress, genetics and too much nitrogen. https://www.thcfarmer.com/community/threads/what-causes-crowning-foxtailing.23446/

I think in my case i have the genetics with that sati dom and heat stress with chubbs. too much nitrogen does not ring true to me for this case anyways.

Don't have any new mail, must not have gone through somehow, and the box is empty so it should work....
