From what I've gathered, the hollow stems are normal and show signs of a healthy and well cared for plant. Some strains' stems wll be more hollow than others and it has to do with age and all that. But there's surely nothing wrong with your growing practices!

oh noods! thanks for the rep and info about the stems. I've been scratching my head about it cause the only thing i've been able to find is that it indicates potency but i'm like how can that be when every plant i've grown has the hollow stem with variance of potency? your explanation makes more sense lol. I do tend to be a bit OCD about caring for the plants, maybe its the newbie in me still but i can't stay away from that grow room!

thank you thank you! I love a nice manicured bud. thanks for noticing that. it's a real pain in the ass and makes trimming time almost twice as long but i find the well manicured buds taste the best for some reason and extra smooth.

awww shiiiit! yeah i've been sick as hell the past week and my home laptop is out of commission right now. I need a new battery adapter, it just went out on me and have had to wait till i'm at work to do any AFN purusing. I'm out for 5 days here and it feels like a month!

And yea, all cannabis started from plants that are hermaphrodites, and that trait has been minimized by breeders as much as possible. But, it happens. I get 'em every once in a while, but don't think much of it 'cause it happens so late in the grow. Just wash down after and get going again. I do keep the mothers even though they could hermie late. I don't breed with any of them, though.

thanks mediman. yeah, the mother plush i was going to save to do pollen chucking with an OG strain but now am going to just throw it into flower with the rest. So far it's only been 2 beans i found and we've easily blown through an ounce of plush berry already lol. puffing on the hash we made to slow down the tree usage a bit. The plush berry is going on a 4 day cure and already soooo stinky! Hope i can hold out for a good month cure
