So I've been germing my Pineapple Express, all was well it germinated and I put it in a cup and misted the top layer. Went in later to check on white widow and accidentally knocked the cup over into the white widows soil so now the pineapple seed is in the soil with it. Don't really know how deep it's under the soil. Tried looking for it couldn't find it. Will it still grow if the tap root isn't facing down? Really blowing me :( I was excited.

Sounds familiar. I won't share my story!

I would check the pot tomorrow and see if you can find it. Tenderly look just a bit below the soil.

Seedlings are hardy. If you find it consider planting it in its own pot. If you don't find it, you maybe surprised to see it pop up. They are tough. And you will have a double pot of pot.

Let us know (or me) how it works itself out.

Still no sign of it after looking again today. Probably destroyed it while looking. So I just ordered another one.

did the same thing with my j.herer seed.... except i knocked the cup over and soil went all over the floor. -_-

I often get a seed popping up because I reuse soil. If I know it is not the seed I dropped I pull it. But then again I am not paying for my seeds either.

I call a wayward seed a "hitchhiker" my wife calls them "volunteers"

If you can at least identify which plant is which then there is no reason to NOT grow them out IMO.

Peace

Eek
