Live Stoner Chat Spitter's Thread.... Spit rhymes here

Its funny you say that he was playing on pandora when I wrote that! I seen this thread a couple weeks ago and finally has a flash of imagination. Im not sure if good ear is the right words but its crazy you matched an artist to a strangers rhymes without even hearing them!

;] He's very distinct.

Got another one for ya.

opportunities per capita square footage of hope
searching mile after mile at the end of my rope
cant make it and now im broken in the small town that i live in
gotta get back to the city ready for a new beginning

all I got here is the clock im staring out the empty window
and im looking for a friend but populations damn near zero
scanning the radio stations all i pick up on is static
in my mind I still hear traffic i know that I've finally had it

so I pack my bag and walk out with a passport and a goal
ten more miles to the greyhound get me straight out of this hole
i guess I slept for ten straight hours woke up to the city lights
tears of joy obscuring them kaleidoscopic beams so bright

checked the map and headed downtown got a room in a motel
set my shit down walked around and felt I'd finally left that hell
the next day at a bar I saw a sign that said help wanted
i asked for an application and wrote my name down right on it

walked around and got a paper checked the local classifieds
I was halfway to a life that was impossible to find
found a one room with a view of the neighbors red brick wall
good enough for me man i don't care didn't bother me at all

I could walk around and see things that before just wasn't there
like society and buildings in the small town those were rare
now Im happy in the city and I'm never going back
i got everything I need here and my life is back on track

if you really want to enjoy that last one, read it to yourself in will smiths voice. you'll crack up. i did.

I'm working on this one right now. It's frustrating me... mostly because it doesn't have an ending. I might retool it a little but over all the premise is laid down... good rythm to it so far.

a cup half full with broken glass*to raise and toast to health tonight
your vanity like blades of grass*outnumbered by your dark to light
tracing streams of red and black*this river flows right through your skin
and you can feel it coming back*compelled to sink the knives again

oh how well I know the game*these words are formed from actions past
so trust me love I've felt the same*and these days scars are fading fast
what want or need is unfulfilled*that brings the edge to kiss your face
your body burned and nearly killed*and this to you is commonplace

nutrient dense, now thats the stuff,
a tastey treat, no bag of puff,
that popcorns dryin, not fast enough,
I'm hungry as hell and its pretty buff,
a test pop, I sure did try,
but nary a single skeet in my eye,
so I'll wait its course, the time to dry,
cuz black dakota, will get me high,

Haha I've finished it. ;) Alright lemme format it and then I'll post. It's still untitled. Doesn't have a name yet - I've been calling it Recut... dunno. Enjoi.

this ribbon red lays into you*it takes with it all that you know
the spring takes form from ocean blue*its yours to keep to treat to grow
the likeness of your grace presents*a canvas set in time tonight
we drink to all future seasons*and watch our little spark ignite

Wake up groggy to a cup of joe, got my bacon in the pan and it's frying real slow
Steel toed boots and FR gear, I drive dusty roads with the elk and the deer
White skin turned dark with the dust and soil, my veins and my wallet pumped full with crude oil
Work real hard so I can play at home, rock my curly fro to the girls I say shalom!
I've got nine pretty ladies and training them pretty low man, I'm like Richard Gere to this Pretty Woman
I'm careful and cautious to enjoy my mota, greetings and good morning from the Dakotas!

:coffee break:
