Indoor SS GGAuto first Journal

Hello everyone!

Long time lurker, and this will be my first journal on AFN. This will be a journal once my seeds come in

Picked up a 5 pack of SS GG Auto today, and should receive them in about a week. When I saw Bigsm0's harvest I knew I had to pick them up. This will be my 3rd grow and my second auto grow.

The first was a photo skywalker kush by DNA Genetics which yielded 3oz between two plants, grown in organic super soil. It was a little upsetting but at least I got one under my belt.

The second was Think Different grown in coco which yielded 6oz from a single plant under a 315w CMH

Now that that's out of the way, a little about the upcoming grow, and a few questions.

The plan is 2 GGAs under one Quantum Board in a 3x3 tent( Ill more than likely grab an autocob to supplement in week 2 of bloom). The medium will be coco in 3 gallon nursery pots. I may go to 2.5 gal and grow 3 (still undecided).

As far as nutrients I mainly just used FN Bloom and Calmag since i was using RO, and I wanted to keep it simple. However, I really wanna turn it up a notch to try and get the most out of the plants so I'm looking for any suggestions as far as nutrients and maybe a feed chart.

Well, they came in a couple days ago and this is the night i received em. Germinating 3, and should be home today to check on em.

Germinated 3 with paper towel method. One didn’t take but we’ll see if she pops in the soil.

Germinating the other 2 in root riot cubes using the @Ronin method, and we’ll see if they take as well.

The two that did pop are doing great, and have been transferred into a final 2gallon pot.

They will stay under the 135w Quantum Board kit at 3000k. Will supplement with 2 autocobs right before stretch. I do wish i had a better color temp for veg but funds are getting tight

Well, came home today and good news and bad news. The first 2 to sprout were on their sides. I think I’ve narrowed down the problem. I’m thinking lack of humidity, light stress, or overwatering.

I removed the cup which I used to supplement humidity from the two, and transferred them to the new seedlings.

Light stress could be it as well since all the seedlings are directly below the light. Even though the light is at max height.

Or overwatering, but I doubt it since they’ve only been getting 5ml of water from a medicine dropper.


Any thoughts?

Week1

And then there were 3. Chopped one that was slow to grow. Opened up the rockwool and I guess a pressed too hard when mating the two pieces together. A piece of the root was slightly crushed.

However, the 3 remaining girls look pretty healthy. The oldest of the bunch is starting to pale out and seems ready for something other than water and roots excelurator.

Will probably switch the light schedule to 20/4 real soon.
