Ok so after reading about staggered harvesting I've decided I'd like too give it a try as my main cola is fattened out and trichs are going amber while the lower buds are still a bit airy and not swollen too potential and trichs aremilky in appearance.

Question is like too know is where do I make the chop? Do I remove the full cola or try and chop each by off individually which seems a lot of work

If you're planning on hanging the cola in one piece I'd go to the bottom of the stem where the bud starts and cut it about 1/2"-1" below the bottom of the buds .... you can remove any cola/bud you consider to be ripe ... try not to over do it, you can always cut it tomorrow ...

Cheers Chester wasn't too sure where too chop. I'm removing the main cola and 2 of 12 of the remainder branches. I'm guessing the lower branches I can just do the same and leave some of the underdeveloped buds on the branch or better too nip the whole branch off close too the stem ?

At this point you really can't hurt it unless you try to ... I just follow the branch/bud down to where the buds end and then leave myself a little nub to hang on to and to hang the bud from, and cut it there ... no need to go all the way back to the plant ... if there is a sizable gap between bud and lower bud that isn't ready yet just cut the top off and leave the unripe bud for a few more days ...
:vibe:

Much appreciated Chester...that's it done now and I'm trimming so I'll post the bud pics in my grow journal

Hopefully by removing the main cola you'll be able to lower your light for the last couple weeks of flowering ... :vibe:
