Grow Room Starting Small.

Hey all,
I don't know that this is the right place to start a GJ but here goes nothing.

Strain: My own (AUTO). My old grow partner used to listen to classical music while playing conductor with a male plant in each hand. (Standing Joke) I call this strain Purple Super Mog. No telling whats actually in it's history. Jack Herier, Low Ryder, some other genetics that I got from a friend. Just a mish mash.

Grow medium: Organic soil

Nutes: Advance Nutes with bat guano

Lights: Right now just a single 24" T5 Sunblaze 6500k and and 42 watt cfl 2700k. I will add one more 42 watt 2700k later. (42 watts actual)

This is all in a recently built PC stealth grow case complete with activated carbon filter (6 layers of pads). Case is 26" high. I bought it off of ebay and out fitted it. It looks a little messy and "cordy" right now but the light bar will be moved up thus getting rid of some of the cords.

Right now the seeds are germing in soil so I have a lid on them (4 of them.. regular auto seeds so I will pick a female and chop the rest) to keep them nice and humid. The light is acting as a warmer.

Just a bump. I wasn't figuring that I would write this but I thought it may be important.

I was convinced that I had installed my homemade carbon air filter in the computer case blowing air in the wrong direction. In the end, it was installed correctly. But, I held cigarette light up to the fan, both intake and out. I got suction on both ends!!! As an old Jet engine mech, this confused the fak out of me since, I know how air pressure works in a closed environment. In the end, the 4" inline fan stacked with filters had a flaw. A simple piece of tape on the middle of the exhaust closed the inner circle of turbulence. Now it's working great and near silent.

Micro Grow Air Filter.

Thought I would add in my activated carbon filter details as I wait for the seeds to pop. Inside Temp 78deg solid. Soil temp 80.

Just a quick how too for a very easy filter set up. Get one of these 4" inline fans from Home Depot. Cost $24.00 and you wire on the plug in. (EZ) No, those aren't my gnarly toes!"Mag foot soak" This is the exact same one I have. So I took it off the internet.

Next, get you some of these activated carbon filter pads and shove them in the intake after cutting them to size. I have 6 layers. I tested it by taking a few one hitters, blowing the smoke thru and then asking a friend if he could smell it. (He hadn't smoked yet) He couldn't! You can find these almost anywhere. (On line auctions) Pet stores or what ever.

Tin tape this SOB to your exhaust port..(Huge fan of Tin Tape!!) I don't see this cooling/filtering off anything larger than 3-5 feet cubed. Like a PC case or a box grow..

Retry rework

My old Grow Partner informed me I took the wrong seeds. So I dumped the dirt and decided to try a micro DWC. I was also informed to pick through the last harvest to find what I wanted.

So I found a few. This is called Super MOG

Added a couple more T5 lights to the case.


Then built the Micro DWC. Vaped gave me the idea kind of. There will only be one plant when done. These are regular auto seeds so I need to start a few then sex them.
