gas mask filers are drawn though so you need to make sure whatever you use is sucking through them and not blowing. Have you looked at some of the other micro growers and seen what they are doing?

LOL! Yes, gas masks are made for one direction only. I have used gas masks to filter out everything from shit-house smells to tear gas. Lot's of training on them.... Been in the gas chambers in the military like 7 times? 4 times in one month.. But outside of a NBC (nuclear biological chemical) environment, they last forever. BTW.. Opening on the Russian made (intake) is 40mm.

In other words, you can only suck (hot) air out of a PC case.. Same as regular air filtration systems.

12v dc is no problem they do a 3 & 4 inch version of the fan was thinking more for small wardrobe grows rather than pc

Yup I have spent way to many hours in MOPP gear myself back in my Army days I will look around for something that could work. Good idea on using them. Also do you remember the tanker masks and cannisters they used might be good to? Maybe there is a little vacuum motor out there somewhere that is quiet enough?
