Stopped growing upwards!?

Hi all,
First time grower here, all appears ok so far, no issues apart from one of the 2 appears to have stopped getting taller but is flowering and buds developing.....any ideas? The one on left (short arse) is older and a different strain to the taller one.

Hi, Thanks for the reply & support! Yeah I know it's different strain, my main concern was that the short one has stayed that height for over a week now whilst the buds are still developing, it is around 8ins, i was just wondering if it is likely to have a growth spurt or have i done something to stunt it.....is this a common thing with some strains, I think it is a Northern Light but like the newbie i am i didn't label them thinking i'd remember but classic stoner memory!......Oh & i murdered first 3 attempts so i partly blame the resulting sorrow for not naming these and getting to attached!

hey, short, stunted plantz are pretty much the norm for me, so... fwiw, NL do stay short & bushy af...altho they do uzually get taller than 8", lol me got 100 sez u'll be keepin track from now on, eh-? :smoking: ppp

I would say, based on how far the bud is developed, you are not going to see a whole lot of stretch, hopefully some fattening up though!

How long do you think it's got left to full development, i'm wondering if i should start flushing, stop nutes etc??

Have you checked to see if the plant has become rootbound? What can happen is the roots fill the available space and this will stop vertical development. This can be tricky without disturbing the plant but a tell tale sign is if they are crowding out of the drainage holes.
