I live in Hawaii, actually on the island of Hawaii, on a mountain at 4000 ft. The temp for the next few months should range from low 60's at night to mid 70s during the day. Humidity is ALWAYS above 50%, usually more like 80 - 99 % humidity. Most times there are nice trade winds but not so much this time of year. I keep the plants in a PVC hoop house to keep the rain off them and it's working pretty good so far.
I tried some AK 48's recently and the mold beat them up, girl scout cookies did OK as well as Gorrilla glue some others. with the cannabis industry what it is, new strains are being developed everyday,
I want to try Lambo, developed in the Pacific NW, but currently out of stock and I don't think it's an auto, any recommendations from folks dealing with similar climates earns you a free beer and a place to crash when you visit Hawaii.
Thanks.

a usual 80-99% Rh is tough conditions alright!! No sure if its feasible, but adding circulation into your hoophouse will help decrease the mold. I had to mostly give up outdoor AK varieties for the same reason. Love Ak smoke, hate the mold!!

Last year we had a super rainy cool season and many strains struggled. The one that came out on top with minimal mold was the Dinafem White widow XXL, which is developing a great reputation for resisting mold outdoors in the wet UK.

The one i did was no slouch either!! It more than doubled the next best yield pulling 138grams and growing to 43" in height. Not too bad at all for 21 days indoor, then outdoors where it rained 35 of the next 45 days after i planted her out. AWW really did a great job.

Auto Frisian Dew is another GREAT stain for wet shitty climates like mine.
