Harvest & Curing Stressed plant “appears” to have matured early

I have the same thing going on with one of my Sour Livers Auto from Mephisto one of them got stunted somehow and is around 2 weeks ahead of one in flower and then I have another one that is even further behind by about a week or week and a half. The stunted one has brownish stigmas that are retracting, buds look more amberish and is more swollen and developed than the other ones has had a few ambers for a while but not a lot. I have a grow thread if you want to see the size difference I have to prop her up a good 7 or so inchs to be on the same level as the other girls.

I've got 3 of the auto livers x Samsquanch from Mephisto that are all very different looking. 1 got stunted in germ & is only about 20" tall but started flowering while her 2 younger siblings are still in veg but look quite different. I'm not complaining...just noticed a distinct difference between seedlings of the same strain

From seed different phenotypes can surface, depending on which strain and breeder. I really want to grow some of Mephisto's genetics as I've heard so many good things.
I just found it odd that two clones that are genetically identical could have one plant get hammered by root issues, and the other one also suffering from issues was fine (Arguably not as bad so that's the explanation now that I've harvested the poor gal).
Growing is something where I'll always learn something, sometimes the hard way!

Environment plays a big part in phenotypic expressions.

From seed different phenotypes can surface, depending on which strain and breeder. I really want to grow some of Mephisto's genetics as I've heard so many good things.

I never knew that, I thought it was more "programed" into the genetic makeup of the plant in the seed. So I'm growing Bubblelicious; If I get a very bubble gum pheno and it happened to be from the growing environment, does that mean that no matter the environment, all the clones from that plant will be of that pheno as it has been "programmed" in from the impact of the environment on the original plant?
I'm sorry I may not be coming across clear, I did read up some time ago about how each grow will "program" into the plant certain traits and the plant will almost "learn" in each generation and grow better and better in a certain environment as you clone from the previous generation.
Crap I can't recall when or where I read it, it's fuzzy but that distant bell is being rung.
I really want to get more into breeding, genetics, etc. especially for work. It'd downright fascinating!!

Awesome, thanks for the link! I have some books wish listed on Amazon, but they are pretty pricey. Breeding, genetics, tissue culture etc. I learned a bit in school but nowhere near enough.

I just remembered my other half has a membership to Scribd, I'll never have enough time to read the books I found there... Including a few I had saved on that wish list! Lots of textbooks etc. on breeding, genetics, pretty much anything you can think of Plus the links on that site.
