Very cool ! I saw a study once where they hooked a plant up to a polygraph type of machine and had a guy think both nurturing/loving thoughts and hateful destructive ones - all of which envisioned and directed @ the plant mentally. The freaking plant responded accordingly to both stimuli

There is a duality to all living things. Matter and energy it would be limiting to imagine that all living creatures received information about the environment via the same receptors humans use or that awareness requires a centralized processing organ.
In other words, aint life amazing?

Ye, i went to a thing called the Mind Body exhibition in Earl's Court in London when i was maybe around 10 (my Mum and Stepdad were hippes, still are), and they had us all think bad and good things about some tomato plants that were wired up through speakers, and they were very noisy when we thought bad thoughts but very quiet when we thought serene thoughts.

There was an experiment to use them for anti-terror in the main doors of important buildings, so that plants 'screamed' if anyone with 'bad intentions' was nearby.

Turned out that everyone was so stressed every morning that the plants just screamed when people arrived !
