Nice little tutorial bro, I always thought that you should lst after feeding i.e more water in the stems makes them more bendy, you may have just proven me wrong

For LST it doesnt really matter if you water first or not as you are not bending very far each go at it....
With some of the bends I need to make I need to get the plants very very dry, to the point of wilting for some of things. But that comes with the danger of killing the plant so you need to be very careful that you dont do that.


Later today I will be adding some more instructional stuff to this thread, pics are done it's just the typing to go but for that I have to be stoned

Alrighty then folks, it is time to add some more

So I left off last time with the Jem only half done, before I put it away I quickly did the other side...

Fast forward three weeks and we have:


A left and right shot with some ties already loosened.


Now with most tied removed...


See them marks...you DO NOT want to have those....that is choking the plant and is avoided simply by adjusting the ties on a regular basis. I am just a lazy cunt...

Another couple of shots with the ties off showing it holding the fan shape on its own already


Tie up time, but now with some sticks also
First add some ties to the lowest branches and tighten them up once you have the branch in the correct position. If you need to adjust the shape so it looks better now is the time, shape from the bottom and work upwards.


Now to improve the fan, sticks are weaved between the branches, this pushes each of the branches around more so that they line up better. Try to get the inside ones close to the main stem but not so it will break the branches, the closer you get to the main stem the tighter the stick will become.


And at the end of the session it looks like this

Would pipe cleaners work cause I dunno what kinda wire u have there ....
And I haven't seen anything ever like that in da swmap stores ....

Another little update

I have been working over my PAK lately but it is slow going, it's a strange plant that does not want to bend....
When I started at it yesterday it took only a few seconds before I busted the harness, what a pain in the ass.


I had to take all the ties off and start again, during the retie I noticed the plant was not straight any more....
The ties that are on now is enough to start pushing the plant deeper into the Coco so its time to get fancy with the ties

By using an icy-pole stick and some wire we can pull the plant over without too much more downward pressure. You can use this technique even if you dont have anything to tie on to, you can just hang something heavy on the end and it will do the same thing.
