Grow Room Suitable LED's For limited vertical space (34")

I'm with Chester. Ideally I'd mount the light on the outside of the tent (although I don't have trouble controlling the temp except for at the hottest time in the Summer.) I've recessed my res. into the floor of my tent which helps keep the nutrient solution cool.

Ive run four 4 foot floursescants and X2 3 foot flourescents in this space with no heat issues.(78-80 usually max)

If I have to disperse heat I have thought of a way and I will do so if needed. Thanks so much to everyone for the comments and help. I am super excited to make this happen in a few months. Because the price was so fine I bought an old model marshydro 100X3w...I figure worst comes to worst I can angle mount it in the far end of the cab for extra distance.
I am still buying the 300w dimmable as well.

Mr. Tight modified his Mars II 1200 with the mounting bracket from a Black Dog. Dont know it that helps any but those brackets sure are shorter than the wires and carabiner

Thanks for the tip bolio....I actually have quite a bit of experience making things similar to this so I will be custom making a bracket, likely one that will swivel to angle mount.

Are you ready to drop some seeds or are you waiting for the other light?

I wont be firing it up until fall(let the photos finish first). Likely oct1st.

Edit- Bam...bought the second light. 300W dimmable(165 real draw)

An update...lights have both showed and I have hooked them up. Instead of making brackets I simply used eyehooks in the roof and used small wires to hook up tight to the ceiling of the cab. Secure and as high as I could get them. Temps are running high. Went from 78f to 96 after a test run with both lights blazing full power, then I realized that I didn't have my inflow fan on...lol
Still was 90f so I have rigged up 4 pc fans. 2 of the fan Blow across the lights on an angle into the other 2 fans which draw the heat out the back of the cab. Seems like it'll work pretty well. Got it down to 86f. Gonna work.
