I've made the classic rookie mistake of over-watering. I have been watering them every 2-3 days with like a half gallon in 9.5L pots, my temps are usually 81 degrees, sometimes as high as 86, but not too often. Its pretty dry 30-40% humidity, which is why I watered so often.
So I went ahead and gave them first dose of nutes today, I noticed in previous waterings the runoff had a slight sulfur smell, this feeding it was really strong. I researched it and concluded it is from a combination of bacteria, over-watering, organic soils, , and maybe not enough drainage, but they drain really well, I mixed with perlite. They are self watering pots that have a reservoir to hold extra water, they hold a pretty good amount extra, and they seemed to be keeping the bottom of the pot saturated. I went ahead and removed them, as I'm using clay collectors. I think that will help with draining a bit more as well as aeration. So from what I've read I won't be able to get rid of the bacteria without repotting, which would really suck because they are autos and one has already been transplanted once. I'm wondering if I let them dry out for a week or so and then watch how much I water will this reduce the levels of bacteria and smell? The last thing I want is to produce some fat ass buds that smell like rotten fookin eggs. Any ideas or suggestions? Are they doomed to smell of shit in this soil and pots? I grabbed a handful of soil and it smelled fine.

Self watering pots are not good so it's good you fixed that. You could flush them with plain water and see if this helps with the smell.

yeah thank God I realized that. I'm thinking that most of the smell was coming from the bottom in the reservoirs. After I threw away the reservoirs and cleaned the clay collectors, there was still a small amount of run-off. That run-off didn't smell or at least didn't smell as bad. I also grabbed a handful of soil that had been watered and it smelled normal. Going to let them dry out for 5-7 days, regular water next feeding, and see how the smell is.
