Lighting Sungrow LED 8 band full spectrum with 3500k cob grow light

Thank you again @Atulip, the Timbers look very good. Just out of curiosity, what do you think the ppf of a MarsHydro 300w 5watt is? just so I have some kind of benchmark, I have one myself. Thankyou for sharing your knowledge with me :smoking::smoking:

Probably about 175, 200 tops. It pulls 140w at the wall. Maybe 1.4/w

Hps is 1.8 ppf/w unreflected. So reflector loss and bulb age, cheap leds should see a watt for watt equivelance. (I can't speak for how long they'll last though)

What do you think of this one please, I appreciate its far from being the best available, but I think would suit my requirement. They have offered it to me @ $249, the cost includes delivery to the UK, must be better than a Mars 2 400w? I already have a Mars 300w 5w, im just tempted to get another one and have 2 in my tent. I do get some hotspots with it though.

Looks like Chinese junk. Got a single cob(cxa2540($10chip and overdriven)) and a bunch of epileds and whatever a 'bredeglux' led is... for that efficiency you should be paying $.50/w. I'd get more Mars300s, they're priced right for an inefficient chinese fixture. You won't save any electricity over hps though, only savings comes from bulb replacements. 2 minimum for that space, and up to 4 in it. Or 250-400w hps.
