Hi, everybody. I was just watching tv now, and it came to my mind that the super auto must have a different lifecycle then the regular? Super autos must be more like photo plants. If you understand me right. The super takes about the same time as a photo, but all runs automatic. I don´t know what i am talking about. :)
But i hope you will understand what i mean?

Muddy wrote something about "the lifecycle of autoflowering cannabis" in the new growers forum. I was thinking if someone could explain this to me i would be super greatful.

Now i am going to bed. Good night homies! :)

I'm not a 100% sure but I think Super Auto's are not full auto's more like light sensitive. As in they'll start to flower faster than photo's
Not a 100% sure though. Someone with more knowledge will come through so hold on tight buddy

My SuperAutos are 100% autoflower under 24 hours lights.....

I feel dumb....
Thanks for clearing that up stich. So what's the difference between the two? I'm guessing super autos takes longer to finish?

As I understood it, the original conception of "super-sutos" was all about shortening flower times - mainly with Sativa dominant crosses, but then the Urban Legends got mixed up with it all. I also knew there was another debate about some super's being a fiddly, light-sensitive genetic (as mentioned above) but I was under the impression that - while true super autos do exist - those light-sensitive fems are not actually autos unless they contain the Ruderalis genes, so they don't really qualify as a super autos.

Incidentally, I've only grown one super strain (SAS) and so far I find it anything but super. ;)

super auto strain? lol most certainly not but if you ever come across a plant thats has those initials think twice i guess lol

I've grown a couple super auto strains, Super Cali Haze and Super Stinky. Both were 100% auto flowering. The SCH was started indoors and moved outdoors after sexing, the SS were grown completely indoors. The only real difference I saw between them and dwarf strains is that they take a bit longer to show sex, about 5 weeks, and take longer to finish, which is understandable given that they are much larger plants.
