Hi guys, I am currently looking at the technique of super cropping which is where some of the side stems of the plant are snapped without breaking ie leaving the outer membrane intact, my question is:- Can I use this technique with autos and has anyone had experience of using this? Appreciate any feedback on this and many thanks in advance...:tiphat:

Hi Warrior

How do you do :)
There's a thread going at the moment where a first time grower is trying super cropping one of his autos: here https://www.autoflower.org/f44/1st-time-complete-beginner-loads-worries-21046-2.html#post429710

and if you check out hazy's reply, you can see in his sig that he has a super cropping test on some dutch passion plants. He has a lot of experience with plant training so would be well worth a look mate!

All the best

^This- Super cropping or Scrog is the best route to go with Autoflower especially with Super Autoflowers such as Dutch passions' Auto Xtream or Think different where if you grow them in aero or hydro you would maximize your bud sites and have a nice even canopy. But if space is limited I would use tie wire around the stem and branch and use a piece of heavy gauge wire ie..wire clothes hanger if on a budget and slowly bend the wire until you have a desired bend leave for a few hours then come with a sterilized razor blade and cut the stem enough to break through the fibers but not into the core this WILL create a knot once it heals hope this helps Good luck Brother.:smokebuds:
