New Grower Supercrop or LST

I am getting ready to start my first auto grow. I've been told you can't supercrop autos but that you can use LST on them. Is this correct?

You can do whatever you want to auto's. LST is definitely great for them, and certain strains (particularity ones that flower early and finish in a short amount of time) don't respond as well to topping/supercropping/fimming, but the record holding Automazar plant was topped.. So that speaks for itself..

With that out of the way, what kind of lighting are you using? T5's definitely benefit from lst because you need the canopy all as close as possible to the bulbs.

Thanks. I going to use a 4' 6 bulb T5 set up in my 2x4x5 tent. I am also planning on using WG's soil mix and nute schedule and 2 x 10 gal smart pots. I'll be growing 2 of DP's Think Different. What do you think?

10 gallon pots seem a bit excessive, most people use 3 or 5 gallon. Your Think Different's will grow beautifully in a 3gal pot, or grow into beautiful monsters in 5 gal pots.

Yea Id sick with 5 gallons as the biggest size. 3-5 is what most people use for the biggest auto plants.

Yes, you can LST your gals!!! Autos love LST and will even out your canopy!!! Nothing like having 8+ colas to deal with!!! In a 2x4x5 you will run out of room with the 10 gallon pots. I would go with the 5 gallon and you will still be tight on room with 2. Might not be enough light too!!! TD's get huge man!!!

hey i just did a grow where i used lst and they love it......

I had a spot light fall on my Chemdogs and supercropped it by accident the other day. She lagged for a day and is shooting up nice now.
