New Grower Switching from 24 to 12/12 ?

Hey guys,

Quick question. I have 2 rooms right now, 1 flowering (12/12 hps) & 1 Veg (24 HM). I have a little extra room in my flowering room and would like to know if it would effect my Northern Lights auto flower to move it from 24h MH to 12/12 HPS

It's still getting vertical growth and still only getting veg nutes.

Umm ya it will affect it. Auto's should be ran at either 18/6 or 20/4, some do 24/0, but cutting down to 12/12 will def decrease your yeild with an auto.

Edit: How old is the vegging plant, is it showing pre-flowers yet? And some pics would be nice! xD

Cool, thanks for the info. I was pretty sure it would stunt her growth pretty bad but i wasn't 100%.

On a side note: even tho the auto veg with 24 hours our lights....IMOat least give Em 20/4 ...the plants use the dark period to focus on root development and stretching so with the 24/0 it's kinda like your not giving your girls time for them to develop properly and reach there danky potential...good vibes to your grow op and hope it helped

Auto's will grow under any light conditions, including 12/12. But it will just take longer for the auto to finnish. Like 35-45% longer in light hours. To recover the hours you choped off when dropping to 12/12 etc...........AB......in adition you will be watering less = slower growth times...........AB...........
