Lighting T5 blue or red??

Im one month into my af grow and have 2 lights a 8 bulb and a 6 bulb.the six bulb is on the side and 8 above.Right now im using all blue bulbs for veg and will be switching to red for flowering.my question is should I only use blue for veg n red for flowering or should I use a mix.some say only red during flowering and some say to use a mix of red n blue??

There are no set guidelines for this and its a personal choice thing.I use all 6500k for veg and a mix of 5 6500k and 3 2700k for flowering.

I've tried mixing in some 2700ks for veg but found I get better results running all 6500ks. In bloom I run a ratio of three 2700k to one 6500k.

I run a 12 lamp Quantum Badboy fixture.
The mixture that has worked best for me is 10 lamps @6500k and 2 lamps @ 10,000k +uvA.
I tried the mix of reds and blues, but never got the results I get from my current mix.
