I'm a noob. Just learning about LED tubes that replace standard T5 bulbs.

Any increased benefit in doing this over standard T5HO fluorescent tubes?

Shred, you have a link to these tubes? Sounds very interesting to me, I use t5 now and have been considerin LED, this would be a great way to go, you could run t5 for grow, and after stretch switch to led tube and power bloom.
 
It looks to me like they are not interchangeable. You have to bypass the ballast in the t5 light to use the led tubes. Basicly using the t5 frame and building your led. Looks way cheaper and easier to just go buy a led already setup.
