Today I've visited my friends grow since he asked for help and took those photos. Here's our case:
1: 17\20 ladies are absolutely fine.
2. 3 have different problems.

What we know:
1. Soil, PH and nutes are identical.
2. First and third photos are of the same strain and the second one is different.
3. All autos and are in the middle of week 4.

Symptoms:
1 and 3 lady: Spots occur only on old leafs. Tips are not burned. Both are extremely well overall showing vigorous growth. I suspect MG def or some nasty pests (gnats maybe? yellow papers were installed so will update on that one)
Second Lady is a mystery to me: It's about 2x shorter than the rest and shows what I would consider to be N def with her pale(ish) leafs, but she's receiving same feeding as others and they seem really happy with amount of N received.

PH can be a factor (he's using AN pp on my recommendation tho I never had a problem with this line in regards to PH) I'm gonna give him a meter to test it in a few days.

So, fellows, any ideas? :thanks:

I always start Calmag at 10 days and continue up until cleanse ... I also mix a little bone meal into my pots for the phosphorus ... I do this so that my plants don't develop spots ... not sure if it would help your friend's plants ...
:toke:

P was also on my mind along with Mg, yet the weird part is - all other plants are totally fine with no sigh of any def. As for feedings, they are identical to mine (I use slightly different soil though, but not hotter, just different brand) and I never had any major problems like this. My thinking here:
1. It's not a burn. Good.
2. Watering schedules are good (wet\dry cycles)
3. It's prooooobably not gnats.

So it must be a deficiency. But if all the girls had same symptoms it would be much easier: throw some double P+CMg and see if it works. Problem is (not really the right word) all others are super healthy.

What are your thoughts on a second (lime-ish) plant? It's Auto Jack Herer, I believe. Super stunted growth (a week behind at least). My first guess when I see pale, I call for N. But she was getting just as much as others. Some bullshit with soil PH perhaps? But yet again, why only one? Super interesting case.

Doesnt look like a def to me. You didnt happen to splash any feed when watering them?

Different strains all respond different. When I do my runs I have 4 plants different strains art once bit I feed them all the same. Some look amazing some look not so much lol.. I would monitor ph although I use AN and it's always good. I would do as Chester said and add the cal mag suppliment and hold the course for now

That is a mystery to me, I'm not the one feeding them. I'll ask. It may be plausible for girls 1 and 3 but I really doubt that is the case for the second one.

CMg seems to be a solution for 90% of weird manure, and I'm a huge advocate for it myself :) As for strains, my thoughts were exactly like yours, but yet again this is a very challenging case, since my buddy got 3 different strains there (10+5+5) and 2/10 and 1/5 suffer from different minor problems, while other remain healthy. Super interested in solving this :)

I feel ya I used to be the same way. If I saw anything wrong I would dive in changing trying to fix it... now I just keep pushing the AN lol

:toke: Quez-- some odd stuff indeed! AN aside, the actual pH in the pots is no reflection of what goes in, there are several other things that influence pH in the pot proper, including the plant itself! AN buffers itself in solution, not the entire pot over time,... What soil brand is it? Always check the soil pH right out the bag first, take nothing for granted.... I recommend the Accurate 8 soil pH probe for this,.. forget those skinny cheapo probes you see around, they suck! The A8 works on the same principles, but is better engineered,...

-- first pic is weird, that spotting and it's clustering at the rear like that doesn't fit any defc./toxicity well at all,.. it looks more like something I see with hydro plants that experience a short term but serious pH flux,... if it's not advancing, and the plant is OK otherwise, let it be... Ditto for the 3rd pic, same issue for sure,...

-- second pic, in that HPS light, I can't tell doodly, accept that is looks pale,.. good color rendering for diagnostics is critical, so shoot me new ones in normal light please.... N, and S defc.'s can both cause over-all paleness, but with N, the lowers are affected first... with S, the tops will be first and worst....

Ca-Mg supp's are great, but not to excess, and that's dependent on your nutes, contents of these, and the water source,... in any case, this isn't a Ca-Mg issue IMO... A-T' is spot on right too about strain variations, and even pheno-to pheno,.. all seeds are something of a gamble, just the nature of the genetics!

Thanks, Waira. I will visit my buddy soon and measure the shit out of PH. I personally wouldn't worry much: I've seen stunted, over watered plants, etc (Flashback to my first grow) plants grow up to be monsters. New leaves are super healthy on both 1 and 3, as for lady number 2, I really don't have a clue. I'll take a photo with lights off and post it here. So far I've told my friend not to worry since they're definitely not dying and will probably bounce back in a week. Soil was Canna, I believe. I personally use Plagron, so can't really tell you specifics of his soil.
