Growing in a 30x18x30 tent. 300w old style mars LED, 3 23w LEDs, CO2 bag, and fan in the garage. Lights are on 20/4. Some fairly wide temperature ranges (60's at night to mid to high 90's during the day). This mild winter so far has made it tough to regulate. I grew a nice NL Auto last grow, so overall, I expected the Jack Herer's to do ok. This grow I used Fox Farms happy frogs soil. Used some MG stuff with the NL. I've also fed FF trio along with some calmag.

Here is the story.

I started with Jackie1 (J1) germinated on 10/15 and put into a 3gal fabric pot. Took about 10 days before she really came out of the ground. In the meantime, I started Jackie2. She germed and sprouted out of the soil 2 days after J1 did.

Mistakenly, I had them both in the same pot. On day 14, I transplanted J1 to a new pot as she seemed smaller and stunted compared to the quickly growing J2.

I used LST pretty heavily on J2. Around day 22 I mistakenly topped her.

J1 showed pistils on day 28. J2 is just barely showing pistils. She's much lower and compact compared to J2 due to the LST and forced top.

Had some PH issues at 36 (12 days ago) and have flushed both plants twice (4 gallons each first time, 6 gallons each second) and no feedings.

Here are some pictures. J1 looks good flowering with nice pistils. I'm not happy with the droopy clawed leaves but the bud sites look "ok".

J2 on the other hand is barely showing any pistils. Only 2 days behind J1 but no where near the bud growth. Nothing seems to have changed in the past 2 weeks with all the flushing.

They're almost dried out now so I'm going to give them one more day before watering with a feeding tomorrow.

Any ideas why J2 is not flowering much? Anything I should be doing differently?

Thanks for stopping by!

Where is the RH at, do you have enough air exchange? It looks to me like your RH may be to high and or possibly over watered. You should also get a Silicon supplement if the temps are going to stay that high, really Si is always a good supplement to use. The topping just stunted J2 a bit, some auto's like topping others not so much. Their color looks good, no obvious deficiency's I can see. Hope this helps, hang in there hopefully someone else with more experience will chime in and help.
Grow well, happy holidays!

you say they are mostly dry right now? maybe they need some now.I've had them droop from being too wet and too dry. I would remove the cfls to cut down on the heat. I run my lights 24/0 in the colder months to maintain acceptable temps. I prefer 18/6 but conditions dictate. Nugnubs advice is spot on, especially on the SI supplement. really toughens them up.

Thanks so much for the responses:thanks:.

RH about 50-65 (it's in the garage so I don't have much choice. I could open up the ports in the tent to get more air exchange)

Going to turn off the cfls for now.

They were both very light today and no wetness anywhere (7 days from last flush). I watered and fed them. They each received a gallon of water and there was minimal run off, not enough to PH. I put 3tsp of Big Bloom, 2tsp of Tiger Bloom and Grow Big, and 4 ml of calmag ph'd to about 6.5.

I finally started seeing some pistils growing on J2.

Thanks for your help. Watered and fed the other day and they seem to be making a comeback!
