Indoor Tent grow with super soil

I used a 4x4 tent, 1000 watt halide, grown in 20 gallon tubs filled 1/3 super soil in the bottom and finished filling with Pro-mix. The only supplement was black strap mollasses. I read where in the tubs watering was not needed after the first time, but I found I had to give them a lot more waterings. What did work was by mixing the water in the soil then placing it in the tubs, it took so long before they needed water that their roots had totally stabilized the soil giving me no shrinkage after I did water. This I think has great advantages in that air pockets are built in so to speak. Thanks for that great tip Cres! My ph kept adjusting to 8 enstead of 7 and gave me fits. I think the pelettized lime I used was the problem. Pic to follow.

View attachment 207362Week three. Things were getting weird! On day 15 12 plants began showing hairs. I tested the ph and found it to be 8. I added sulfer and got it donw to 7. the yellow centers started to green up and rapid growth continued.

Sorry. I bred a white widow to a power plant, an A.K. 47 and a santa maria. They are planted here in equal numbers.

View attachment 207364Week 4. Back on track ph wise . Rapid growth continues nicley and still have not watered. Flowering is erractic. The ones that began on day 15 are far ahead of the others. 5 waited until day 30 to show hairs while 5 others showed nothing. These were cut down.

View attachment 207367Week 5. Yellowing problem is back.Ph is again at 8! Top leaves are yellowing. Watered for the first time. To combat the ph problem I lowered the water ph down to 5 then gave each tub one gallon. At the same time I foliar fed them with magnesiam. Something worked . By now the 5 plants that waited until day 28 to flower were getting to tall and growing fast. I rearanged the tubs to put these against the walls. Not shown in this pic. The early birds are flowering hard and maintaining rapid growth.

View attachment 207380Week 6. Getting hard to tend to them due to thickness. The early birds have formed colas and smelling great. The slow flowering 5 , not seen here , are starting to fill out but aready 3 feet tall, and growing!
