I'm starting my first grow... 5 autoflowers. I've got 2 of the seeds that have sprouted and moved into Dixie cups.(I'm using hte hempy method) The temperature in my tent 2.6x2.6x5 is staying around 82-84 degrees. That seems too warm to me. What do you experts think or suggest regarding the temperature inside the tent. By the way, I've got a 6inch fan in there and have gone ahead and turned on my carbon fitler/fan hoping that it would help circulate the air better. Thanks for your help!

More vents to get the hot air out and fresh air in. Dunno if tents have them as i only use stealth cabs, I cut loads of holes at top and cover them with removable filters, so you can close them or open them as needed. My fresh air comes in from the bottom under a grill that i have my plants on.
The cold air forces all the Hot out of the holes at the top so i dont even need a extraction fan.
But tents? not too sure mate.
Help will be along soon tho.....

Ang on.....have you got a fresh air intake fan? you need both in tents i think, intake and extraction.

Hey there Buddy. Your temps aren't too bad. But you don't want them to stay above 85F for very long. I shoot for 80F even as much as possible. When they're in full flower, I've read that they can handle a little more heat than in veg. :D My :2cents:

Thank you , Squid and Nemesis One. I appreciate the advice. I don't have fresh air coming in, so I think I'm going to open those holes up like you suggested and crank up the fan/filter some. Good to know I'm not too far out of the zone, Squid. I'll see if I can tweek a few degrees cooler in there to stay away from that 85 mark. THanks again, all!

Buddy
