maintain good security practices and you'll be fine. Make sure there is no EXIF data in your photos to indicate your location and don't post pics with landmarks in them. Don't discuss your location in more than a vague manner. Don't name people or places around you.
I personally use a VPN service, but I use that for all internet related activities I do. Big Brother can kiss my ass!
