New Grower Testing Bud

There are other things you can look at before sampling a bud. If you have a microscope you can inspect the trichromes. The pistols should be showing signs of being ready. They should be drying up and turning brown or reddish. Lots of info on that in here.

Nope. You'll catch a little buzz if you snip off a fresh bud and put it in a vape, but you really need to cut and properly dry (NOT speed dry) your bud before you get an idea of what it's going to be like. I know it's super exciting and you want to smoke your first bud, but unless you have a vape to put it in, wait :thumbs:
yea what piggy said id wait man, i have a bong not a vape and ive tried talking a "sample" from pretty much all my plants..i usually cant wait either 
but for one when grinding it it will be so moist it will pretty much just stick between the teeth of the grinder and it more like tears not grinds, then when in the bowl the samples i take are usually so moist it wont even burn lol id wait it out if u can bro it makes a huge difference!
if your tryna see what the smoke is gunna be like..again wait man. A properly dried and cured bud will be way better then if u jus snipped some off then smoked it. its possible though but it wont be at its best :thumbs:

Yep, what piggy said. I use to snip of a sample while I was harvesting and quick dry it. I don't anymore because it is nothing like the dried cured bud is going to be. Always worth the wait it you don't want second rate. :thumbs:

Okay, my fellow growers; I'll wait another week. Pistols definately turning red/brown but they are not nearly as full as the pics I've seen on here.
