Indoor Testing LBH Strains ( Seasickdee2 )

Man they look like what we call here " midgies " I got these slow release fly killers... I'll post a pic below...it says in the second pic that you,should keep out of,direct sunlight, radiator etc.. So an LED is,not ideal for,this I'm guessing?

Idk about gravel. But I have used sand, cover the top completely with it and it does work. It just makes watering a hassle as when it dries up the sand hardens to clay like. So you have to mess with it every watering, but is effective. Just a hassle
 
Make sure it's.not no regular beach sand, that has salt. You don't want to he adding salt to your Soil
 
Yeah I had a constant battle with them until I covered them with sand, and fogged the room. Don't know if I had to fog the room, but the sand definitely stopped them from breeding again as none were ever reborn
