I know there are dedicated soil PH meters, but I couldn't find any from a shop close buy so I went for a liquid PH meter. I've read somewhere that if you mix a sample of soil with some distilled water you will get exactly the PH of soil since distilled water doesn't have any minerals and water itself has no buffer capability ie if you put 1 drop of PH4 solution in 1 liter of distilled water the PH of the water will be 4. It seems reasonable, any of you know something about this?
