Hi, I know this is a bit of an old thread but it's kinda relevant to my question. If anyone can direct me to where I should post this that would be great: I'm wondering about the next Mephisto limited Edition Release and specifically about whether or not I should be interested in purchasing F2s? which I always thought is the crazy ass varied as fuck pheno hunters generation. So my basic assumptions are that the higher the filial generation the more likely the line will be stable and that F1s can be worth a punt albeit they might vary a bit more but might also exhibit hybrid vigour. Forgotten Strawberries /orange biscuits/wookie special and Jammy Dodgers are coming out as F2s While I like the sound of all of the above I'm in not in a position to pheno hunt. I know they have released F2s before ie. AvT maybe sour hound. Which neatly brings me to my point AvT will be re-released as an F5 and a few other favourites like forgotten cookies as F3 and above I think. Have I got this wrong? I'm thinking to save my money until Mephisto pheno hunts the F2 generation for the jammiest dodgers then I'm intertested. Similarly I skipped Night Owls everything crossed with cosmic queen offering thinking I'm more interested in the coming photoperiod crosses or at least wait until the best of those crosses is worked further. On the right track or barking up the wrong tree?
