Indoor Testing the eazyplug pyramid mini.

banana purple punch 8 weeks
The Banana Sisters are revealing themselves. The fast maturing full purple pheno is chunking up as expected. I have pulled all the branches apart to expose better leaves and get more air in, this is a small plant at 14in.

The slower to mature creamy coloured plant, is making good use of its extra time and has very large fluffy pistil balls and now the delicate purples which are splattered on the calyxes are pushing through. These are going to be larger and chunkier than the purple flowers when's she's done. This one is a bigger plant with very short, thick and strong branches making it almost impossible for me to bend her apart. I have broken all the branches trying, most are split or mashed but that's all I got. I'm hoping I can get her though this without bud rot.

That bad bean with the leathery ugly leaves is somehow forming quite dense buds, not large of course but pleasingly solid looking. If the tall genes in this one were a part of the creamy coloured plant, then I would be a very happy camper. Electricity blackout today so I put the plant outside and took some shots.

Update on Blackberry Gum and Northern Lights in small plugs.
The Blackberry Gums, small one left to grow normally larger one has stretchy internodes not like I remember seeing on the other Blackberry Gums! Plus the Northern Lights and the replacement Northern Lights in a dirty pot.

BGandNL - 3.jpeg

Tried to tuck the leaves up, in the end I decided to top her at the fifth node and then I just went 'fuckit' and cut off the four large fan leaves because that's the kinda guy I am. Let's see what she does about it.

Blackberry Gums in mini Pyramids and also Northern Lights both Double Seeds.
The taller pheno Blackberry Gum has shot up with long lanky internodes and the other one is short and topped at the fifth node it looks good after having the top two pairs of fan leaves removed, you can see all ten heads in one shot!

FB banana PP 9wks.
The fast one looks ready but I have the luxury of being able to keep the humidity down, I'm in two minds whether to keep going.pbpp - 1.jpegpbpp - 2.jpegpbpp - 3.jpegpbpp - 4.jpeg

The creamy phenotype has maybe three weeks left, looking very gorgeous at the moment...

And can you believe that this pheno with the worst leaves ever, has done a pretty good job. Very white pistils, maybe a week or two?

Sorry for the Delay, I'll try and do this in chunks!
Final result was 3.25oz for the two purples BPP's and 4.75 from the pink one. All three have a very springy light texture, that remains the same all the way through the bud, would probably be great to roll, but it's also excellent to vape, fruity for the purples ones and a strong diesel terp for the pink one with berry undertones. Small yielder, spectacular looker.

Next up the Blackberry Gums, and the Northern Lights in small pyramids.

Blackberry Gum and Northern Lights in mini pyramids.
The Northern Lights that was replaced due to mutation ended up a bit confused about whether she was in fact a lady.

Returned 1.5oz of very nice bud, bright orange hairs, complex aroma, floral and spicy with a hint of skunk. It caused me to plant a large pyramid, although it probably will be a different phenotypes.

New Lights and 4 Jedi Kush in large pyramids.
Planned on three beans again. Jedi germ - 1.jpegJedi germ - 3.jpegJedi germ - 4.jpeg one popped up early and pushed her way out, she did not look good, the other two came up normally, so I popped a replacement bean, however the early sprout fully recovered even though the initial leaves looked burned. So now I have four Jedi Kush the replacement bean Jedi germ - 9.jpegJedi germ - 9.jpeghas turned out to be a very special phenotype that probably would not have gotten another big pyramid had it not been for the bean that almost didn't.

Jedi Kush Veg
All four have been topped and I have done some very aggressive defoliation on the ones that look just too chunky to deal with. Notabley the late addition bean needs no work at all, it is getting nicely spaced internodes. Spoiler alert, she is the best one.

Orange Cookies and Northern Lights.
These are nearly 3 weeks old using my new watering method on these two plus my new set of 4 pyramids. The Orange Cooking has strange long droopy leaves and everything looks delicate and tiny, little shrivelled looking shoots, but she is growing on time, so that's ok. Had to put her in the shady part as she was a bit lemony coloured. The Northern Lights on the other hand is robust and broad leafed.

ok and nl - 10.jpeg

I have evolved the way I water these and now I'm watering them like coco except that I am giving them more runoff and also reusing the runoff. So I have a 9L bucket and I will mix up say a 1200ppm solution, the entire bucket will go into the four plants and I might collect 6L of run off which gets topped back up to 9L then I correct the ppm back up to 1200, or dilute it further depending on what it is.

I'm wondering if the algae that gets washed into the water and then gets inside the plug if it would then act like fertiliser due to no light.

It's a lot of work but very satisfying.

So my night owls didn't come so this next grow was meant to be 4 super lemon haze, but due to some bad beans that didn't germinate, I now have 2 x super lemon haze, and a Terp Treez, Tre Lime Sorbet, which is usually a large plant, and another Double Seeds Northern Lights, so one in a big pyramid and one in a small pyramid, it's currently my favourite terps, I am very partial to a floral spicy bouquet.

Right I am finally all caught up.
