White Sirius are doing well at 1 week old. I got two doing nicely under the Haight LED, everything according to schedule. They popped in 24 hours and another couple days until put into pots, I now wait until the seed has opened, and help out as gently as I can as they tend to stick. Been having some dud seeds lately, strange, just don't germ, I squish em andthey have some white stuff inside but obviously not enough Qi to make it.

No worries, Sweet Seeds are usually quite good at germing and Stitch's seeds looked super healthy when I got them, they are chilling in glass vials now.

I just want to thank God, Stitch, and the community for the support, I am actually functioning about as well as my garden I find, I keep it simple, water the plants, I have a couple of decent LEDs and hope to add one more, I am near self-sufficient with this setup I think this is a good minimum setup for someone who just wants high quality meds.

LEDs and autos, organics nutes and that's about it. Use good soil, always, and you can have enough meds for one person from one Blackstar 240, approx 130W actual draw I believe. The haight draws 90W I think, if I add another blackstar it'd be perfect. 1 haight or blackstar for veg going 24/7, two blackstars going 21/3 I think, you could probably play around a bit with timers if you want to save some money. 90W + ~260-280W for 2 blackstars...~370W of LEDs should be plenty for one or two people, and I'm sure there's room for hydro and less watts.

I could go bubbles if I learn how to do that organic and simple....LED and bubbles...cheap and good quality herbs no matter what you like to grow! I think I will lead a revolution based on these technologies. I realize I can grow medicinal herbs like cannabis and cannabis like medicinal herbs. I got my hands on some holy basil seeds, 4 varieties, and I've been taking some holy basil extract (NOW foods capsules) and I think it does work as an adaptogen, an herb that helps your body to regulate itself against stress.

I grow culinary herbs on my windowsill with the same nutes as my cannabis, and both helped each other because they like the same conditions, they grow similarly. I mean what makes for tasty cooking herbs is the same as for medicinal herbs. That should be obvious, but I didn't realize it.

HAHaha...I guess I just like herbs! Funny. They are all the same. I am such a stoner :D

Believe it or not, ahead of them are two Green Poisons doing their stretch now under the Blackstar and CFLs, as well as a one more Sweet Skunk, which I can't seem to smoke enough of, great sweet creamy up-high smoke! and a mystery auto bean, had a bunch of dud beans so this could be auto afghan or auto ak or auto speed+, not sure :) It is just labeled "?".

Forgive the sort of stream of consciousness nature of my posts, until I get a point and shoot solution I have to use the webcam, which sucks, but hope to have something easier to use soon.

sweetness my friend looking very good... really nice stinker bud too.:toke:

TOKE OUT

I dunno, but I am feeding the plants to all but like the last week or so, and unless I'm just getting used to smoking green buds, but even air drying overnight sitting on top of the haight, which has some hot spots, the buds are smoking pretty smooth.

Mohan Ram tastes and smokes like the Sweet Skunk, very similar creamy sweet taste, and a powerful up high that has a decent body that will probably come out in a couple weeks as the plant fully matures.

I will get some bud shots of the Mohan Ram up, she is nice and crystally with some room to fill out. I highly recommend this strain as it has some sativa in it that makes it a big plant with tons of branches. Skinny leaves make for complete light absorption--if you put your hand under the plant there is very little LED rainbow goodness that makes it through.

I bet a large pot, mucho light and plenty of room would yield a huge plant. She is maturing quickly, I did not stress her with slight LST that I did. I'll try to show that clearly in the pics.

The sweet skunky flavor and sativa high are just brilliant and it's very tempting to smoke this all day long, your heart races and your mind is clear and expanded. Perhaps too strong for casual smokers? I'll find out soon when I share with someone.

Peace out, everyone stay high and safe.

An early Green Poison nug. Pretty stoney, probably not at full medicinal potency yet, but daddy has to have his meds.

I'm getting sour apple on the exhale that lingers in the mouth, really sour, but there is also a very rich, hashy coffee/mocha flavor that is pretty satisfying. It keeps changing every day, hard to pin down.

2 x White Sirius (Stitch) in front,
Mystery Plant back left,
Sweet Skunk (Sweet Seeds) back right

This is under the Haight ppf-400, 90W avg draw, but rated for more. Normally the two in the back would go in the flowering chamber with a Blackstar 240UV, but I guess I got my timing wrong and have two Green Poisons that need at least another week.

The mystery plant is either auto ak-47 or auto afghani, both freebies. I don't think it is Speed+, but that is also a possibility. I had like 2 dud seeds in a row, so I just kept trying to germ another seed.

I am thinking of going to a one plant per week schedule, so I can ideally harvest one plant a week.

The advantages I see are thus:

  • I only have to plant and harvest one plant a week, so easy peezy.
  • With the plants in different stages, and where even a week can be a big difference in an auto's life, I should be able to fit more plants at the same time, obviously I need 8, which I think I can handle under the two lights.
  • Perhaps I could then focus on getting 1oz per plant and then harvest an ounce a week. That would be awesome.
But so far I have been in meds for the most part, but I need to get ahead of myself so I can cure some buds and see what happens. But the quality is very good, the LED and the genetics make for some sticky buds.

Peace and hair grease.

I am trying to germ a Speedy Gonzalez, the other half of the Flash Seeds test grow I am participating in. I will plant one plant a week. I think that will make things much more fun and perhaps more productive.

My thinking is that plants in various stages will have more elbow room as there will always be some smaller plants, <4-5 weks old.

I have some regular Kush Van Stitch on the way...OG Kush baby. I looked again on Ali Bongo on a whim, and got a steal...they are being packed as I write!

If you can't go to California, make California grow in your closet!

Update

White Sirius #1

They appear kinda pale, but that's due to the crappy cam, I guess.

White Siria
, showing how the color varies a lot with my webcam (MS Lifecam Cinema HD). They are a nice dark green, and have a column like shape that in my short experience indicates an Indica dominant growth pattern. Combined with early flowering, we have Kush! I'm sure there's other goodies in there, but I like how this one lets you know from the start which way it leans.

The two White Siria are a little more than 4 weeks, and I checked and found pistils on both plants. My plants don't usually show until maybe 5-6 weeks, I think because the Haight is not super strong, and I have to keep it about 12" away until they start stretching.

So this is always a good sign, and both plants are more or less in sync, a sign of consistency.

Sweet Skunk

She should really be under the Blackstar like a week or two ago, but seems to be handling the Haight well. Always lead the plants to stretch with proper LED height above the plants.

My Speedy has not cracked in two days, so I added another. The third is cracked on the outside, probably shipping damage unless I did that, but I put them straight into small glass vials with a couple silica beads. Did I dry them out too much? It hasn't been an issue so far. Shit happens, that's why he sent 3!

Green Poison

This is a more indica dominant pheno, tall and narrow, and faster maturing than her twin, who I must've friend with too much fertilizer, the fan leaves dried up and turned brown. I chopped her and the smoke is still pretty good, rich and relaxing indica, mostly a body stone and an absentminded attention that is probably best for when you don't need to take care of stuff.

But this girl was fine...I need to find out what really happened...

The aroma is very sweet, it's a creamy candy smell with hash in the background, Sweet Seeds have a signature sweetness, no complaints in that department.

I'm hoping I can hold off and let this girl mature and be cured for at least a couple weeks before I can make a final smoke report.

*I've smoked everything below the main buds, as well as several main branches the same size as the remaining branches.

This is a branchy, high-yielding strain, and my setup does not even bring out the full potential of this strain.
