I haven't had that issue yet. Who knows if it'll crop up at some point. The worst thing I have is the discoloration from the nutrients. My rez stays a consistent 70-72, but I'm working on a chiller to get those down closer to 63. I don't use any medium, though, so I don't know if that might be something. I just have them hanging in the neoprene collars in the net cups. I use 2" cups. Do you use all nutrients? I've never used those, nor really seen or felt them. I don't know if they're anything like Floranova (real thick) but the Botanicare stuff is real watery. The thickest thing I use is Liquid Karma, and that's still nothing compared to Floranova.

Aloha....was reading through ur thread, I also too use botanicare products they are great and let strains live up to they're name. Yes some are wattery but some are thick like cns17ripe which I am currently using along with hydroplex. Ill keep popping in I'm interested in your grow. shootz brah btw congrats on the perfect germ ratio GL....

Many thanks. I don't use any of the CNS stuff, just PBP grow/bloom, aquashield, liquid karma, a touch of superthrive, a little calmag, and I'm going to be testing out hydroplex. Do you find hydroplex to be fantastic stuff? I haven't heard from many folks using it, and would love to hear from more before my samples get here.

And... I couldn't have had that germ rate without some great seeds. It's so weird not knowing anything about them, who to congratulate on the breeding, etc. We'll find out in a few months, I suppose!

Killer mix, sounds like a winner... as for hydroplex its great stuff it really makes flowering take off it also pretty potent stuff and I have been warned by my buddies that it can easily burn but have never encountered any problems but since I use so little just a teaspoon to a gallon it does last longer than my other nutes. Can't really compare it to any other brands because I have only used botanicare for flowering never ff ect... so don't know if its the best but it deff gets the job done. My buddies who own 1 of my local hydro stores have used every nute u can think of searching for the best and stopped looking after using botanicare and swear by they're products they say hydroplex is a must so deff give it a try and see how you like it. Before this I used teas but been to lazy lately to make them. Yes thank you breeder whoever u may be lol its kinda exciting not knowing anything but the name of the strain and to be one of the first to grow it out wish nothing but good luck on this grow and hopefully we get to know another great autostrain cheers....

Yea, the guys at Botanicare said that the 8 ounce sample they're sending over will be enough for 90 gallons of mix. I'm excited to try it out for sure.

Maybe tomorrow I'll start putting these sprouts into my cloner before the roots get too entangled in the plugs. Then, it's off to the races.

Prepped my rez for the new seedlings.

11 gallons of water at 19.5 C
100 ml Clonex
50 ml Aquashield
20 ml CalMag
5.6 ph

After a week or so I'll bump the ph to 5.8 after the initial calcium/iron can be absorbed easier while holding the mag off in the mix.

Couple pics. They're currently in the cloner to grow up a little bit. Once I've got some good roots (probably 2-3 weeks) I'll toss them into the veg bucket with some nutrients.
