UPDATE:
I finished up the Lost coast Skunk and was able to maintain the northern lights until I could put her in a bigger grow box (that review to come later). Final thoughts are as followed.
Stealth:
The box is stealthy and super quiet, no two ways around it. It went under the radar in my guest room with several people in and out and never even glanced at it. I did have a slight problem with the carbon filters leaking odor. These filters are homemade in house and require you to fill them up with provided active carbon. I made the mistake of not filling them up to the brim, by not doing so I created an air gap to let odor pass thru without traveling through the carbon. Once I packed more carbon the box was 98% odor free. Im not saying its 100%, because if you really really tried hard, you can pick up a slight whiff of dank. However, noone made any mention of strange odors.
DWC SETUP/ AUTO PH system:
It works, their venturi setup works well in place of a common airstone. I will say during the late weeks the pump had to be cleaned as it was getting clogged with roots. You can definitely set this up and literally leave it alone for 2 weeks with never having to worry about it. I would recommend dropping an air stone in the bucket just in case the water pump gets clogged with roots.
YIELD/ QUALITY:
3 out of 5 stars. I was able to harvest a little over 1oz from the Skunk auto. The quality seemed to be in the mid-range. Nothing that I would brag about, yet nothing I would be embarrassed about either. Since the box is so small and the lights are so close the buds were very very airy due to the elevated temperatures.
All in all if you have the coin and want something turn key that does exactly what they say it does, I say go for it. I recommend this box to people like myself who already spend a ton of time at their normal job and want something ready to go that requires low maintenance. If you have time on your hands I would opt to DYI. I will continue to use this box as a veg chamber only as I have since purchased another box for flowering.
