Hi GoAuto6!!

Thanks for keeping on sharing your experience. They look good besides the stretching, they all stretched a bit too much, specially the Black Jacks

In my opinion it seems to be because they might be looking for more light. I'm not sure which light you're using and how far is the lamp from the girls so it's hard to be sure, but they really seem like they would not be so stretched if they had all the light they want at the closest distance possible.

We'll keep in touch. I'll keep passing by to check if besides getting tall now they also get fat, hehe :P

Just forgot to say that having 3 plants in only 1 pot, even with autos, may trigger that "competition" reaction that makes plants feel like they are in competition with each others and so not only they stretch their roots as much as possible but they may also behave like this, trying to grow as tall as possible so that the other "neighbours" that they can sense don't grow taller then them and block the light.

Just thoughts and opinions... ;)

Cheers!

I got 400 watts of hps in a 2'.5" x 3' space at about 1'.5" away, must be the multi pot

Yes my friend, thanks for clearing that out as in the pictures is not that clear, maybe you even remove the bulb back a bit to make the pictures. It's probably the multi pot and/or any other parameter that I have no idea. For example I dn't know about August temps where you live. Here is pretty hot, summer is in its peak and it's hard to keep a 400wHPS on without stressing out the plants a bit.

Hope they don't stretch much more and that the flowers end up filling nicely.

Keep us updated. Sweet smokes!

Tommy i was Reading some.where on Multipots is plants cause im studying companion Planting
Like All My tomatos had Marigolds around them
Some.of the Marigolds did alot like u describe with competition
So i startd readingi think that you are correct
Altho it hasnt been fully named it seems alot of growers think the same
Not just MJ growes Comanion Style Growers
I can take pic as ive been working to transition into.my fall Crops

Hi swampman!

Yes, just like you I'm not sure, but I think that it may the problem. I was always told not to put more than one plant in the same pot but actually I thought that with autos there would be no much problem as they are fast... But if they can "sense" the other plants roots it may trigger that "competition reaction" (don't know how to name it properly).
