New Grower Theoretical Cannabis - Various Hypothesis

I know how to run a biochemistry lab. I am an expert in mammalian and fish biology, but the basics apply to plants as well.

I knew I liked you, almost got my masters in botany. I am a sucker for biochem, if it weren't for weed I would be an animal prolly fishes! One simply does not explain proper scientific method without having sommme formal training lol. So do you work in the field? Biology that is

Now I teach biology and chemistry.
Got tired of being alone a the bench. I did my Ph.D. in stress biology in fish. Then I worked on a pancratic cancer project, until I dedicated my time to the students.
Plant physiology I read i my free time. Check my litterature thread and feel free to post interesting stuff.
What did you do for the master thesis?

I didn't finish it, but the hormonal levels and stress responses of strawberries lol Iove strawberries. The ONLY reason I did this and not what I wanted to do is cause Texas SUCKS DICK!!! I wanted to do something with the photo dependency of cannabis as it relates to cannabinoid production but it was just too difficult to try and get approval for. If the DEA would quit dragging there arses and reschedule weed I could actually get my PHD in what I want. You see I actually went to school BECAUSE I love to grow weed so virtually everything I did in school was with a strong focus on cannabis. I want to write a book, because what I really want to do is lay out my "maximum variable" theory which in a nut shell is that if you ramp up all external growing variables to an exponential degree you in turn get exponential growth!

Also I come from a whole family of teachers, my mother, grandmother, grandfather, sister and sister in law are all teachers with 3 of them having their masters. My grandma had her masters in Librarianing(I know that isn't the right word but it what I always say she had her degree in lol) Another funny fact is that not only are my whole family teachers, but we have had 3 generations of kids to have their parents as teachers in class. My brother and I had my mom for Government, my mother and my aunt had their father(my grandpa) in Biology, and my sister just taught her youngest son a few years ago in reading for dyslexia laden kids. So I appreciate you sir and it was my Biology and Chemistry teacher that got me into Learning everything I could about what piqued my intellectual curiosity!

@Mossy I fixed it, I don't want to get pulled over yiiiikes! I didn't want to post it in LS cause I made a boo boo. I wont do it again I promise! Oh and this is the best I could come up with cause you don't gets the pms lol

Nice story!

Does strawberries and plants i general inducible heat shock genes?
What would be very good to know is how weed actually responds to heat and light stress.
LED light seems to increase the demand for Ca2+ and Mg2+. Do you know why? I know nothing about Ca2+ in plants, but i animal cells, Ca2+ is important for intracellular transport and a powerful second messenger. Could the increase in calcium consumption indicate a stress response?
I feed electrolytes every week, particularly Mg and Fe, due their many roles in the energy metabolism.

Trust me that is one of the biggest things I want to figure out is the friggin CaMg thing, it really is baffling to me and since I haven't been able to actually test it and haven't seen anyone else do it. I only have vague guesses as to why LED's cause the def especially in autos, I think it might have to do with the presence of the SFT gene that triggers the florigen hormone but that is just a guess. I WILL find out though, in my upcoming project I am going to be doing a greenhouse with LEC lighting at night. I am theorizing that if you give the plant both natural and artificial light that it will help with the CaMg def. If this is the case then I think it is more of a photoreceptor thing vs a gene or hormone deal. Again just a guess till I can get some tests done

Ofcourse, but it is a qualified guess!
Do mind looking at some leaves? I just observed a suspicius colour pattern. I'll tag you in the post in a moment.

Experiment [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] - "I submit that Harvesting and manicuring a living Cannabis plant in the presence of other living flowering plants would produce either a recognizable, chemical compound, or at the least a detectable Anomalous Phenomena - either of which aiding in excessive Trich production and faster maturation."

This experiment begins today 1-17-16.
:dragon2: :data: :scope:
For flowers, I will be using 4 Stone Dragons.
This way I can hopefully isolate 2 similar phenotype's as my control. Results will be recorded in writing, HD Video, and Macro photography.
Just to make sure: 2 plants exposed to killing, the 2 others out of sight, but otherwise identical conditions?
I don't like only 2 plants pr group. At least 3, 5 would be better for the stats. It is necessary to take the variation among individual plants into the equation.

What about exposing the plants to smoke? Didn't @derek420colorado say there may be hormonal responses to burning? Seems plausible to me.

Chillin' at the sofa with Introduction to Plant Physiology. I need to reach a B. Sc. level of knowledge in botany.

We should do some parallell experiments some time.
